Carrier Siri and Audio Messages won't work for me

The microphone on my iPhone is not picking up any sound from Siri and the iMessage audio messages. I tested the mic on other apps(Snapchat, Video, and Voicecall), and it works fine there. On the audio messages, I try to talk, but all it plays back is just a loud noise without a hint of my voice...
I'm annoyed...
