If you use their full mascot name, it works just fine...

"What was the Minnesota Golden Gophers score?"

Even better I've found is that you can also just ask for the entire Big Ten conference's scores:

"What were the Big Ten scores?"

"Here are the Big Ten scores for last Saturday."

Looks very sharp with each team logo, and was very quick to display.

My iPhone 5 did that consistently as well - Siri couldn't "take any requests" if I tried after the device had been idle for a while; the subsequent try always worked immediately. To fix it, I disabled Siri - closed all apps and restarted the phone for good measure, enabled Siri again and it is working wonderfully now on the first attempts after having been idle.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give this a try.

Siri speed and accuracy is amazing on iOS 7 GM. Dang. iOS 7 is the biggest update to the iPhone.

Ahhhhh 'golden' gophers. Perfect. It works for me too. Thank you!

And thank you for this!

Also the related field has manager, assistant, and spouse.

Of course Siri is fast. There's very few people using the newest Siri on iOS7, so the servers have very light loading.

Just wait until this time on Wednesday, then write back how fast it is.

I was just going to say that I'm still on the old iOS and I use it to get The University of Miami by asking: what was the score for the Miami Hurricanes a football game?

I had this exact problem, the Siri voice (UK or US) was so muffled, but after a few days it has miraculously fixed itself and it's back to normal now. Not quite sure what happened but it's definitely clear as a bell now.

Nato - thank you , it resolved itself for me too , i believe according to another thread the clear voice downloads itself while connected to Wifi for a bit

Perhaps Apple crippled the old servers so they could make claims of it being faster.

i'm still on ios 6.01 and siri is heaps faster, clearer and more useful to me as well. Maybe they just fixed their servers and it has nothing to do with ios7?

It would be nice if it gave some sort of indication that it wasn't quite 100%, at least if I could SEE it was slowly downloading the higher quality voice I'd be more inclined just to wait rather than think my phone was borked!

I clicked add field and it's not there.

Scroll down. After I select "Add Field", "Related People" is the second to last entry, just above "Notes". From there, you can choose specific relationships. Of course, that's on iOS 6.

Hi guys, Siri is working perfectly, but cannot call my contacts.

I'm living in Bosnia, Europe, my iPhone is factory unlocked, Siri understand what I say to her but I get this:

Sorry I can't call XXXX using that number.

Phone numbers are entered in international format as: +387 61 xxx xxx.

I just loaded iOS 7 on a iPhone 5 and tested it against my HTC One and altho it is faster and more accurate... It still doesn't match the features and speed of Google now. Nor do I expect it too, search is what Google does well. (and since Google Now isn't built into the OS, you won't have to wait a year for updates)
