Sketchy Rumor Says Apple Will Add 'Deep Blue' Color for iPhone 7, Drop 'Space Gray'

Blue I could see happening but dropping space gray would be ridiculous after adding it to the iPad, MacBook, iPod, and Watch lineup. Speaking of Watch, announce a stainless steel iPhone in space black with a sapphire screen and I would be in line tonight. I love my watch.
That's enough for me to forgive the recycled design! But since Apple thinks space is gray, they probably also think blue is deep like the ocean

Something along the lines of those new Asus ZenBooks in metallic blue, wouldn't be bad either, imho.
All these rumors about the iPhone 7 are total BS. Every numbered upgrade to the iPhone historically has had big significant changes. 3 to 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 6.
All the rumors so far about the 7 have been "S" type upgrade rumors. Little tweaks here and there compared to the 6S.
I'm not buying any of these rumors. The 7 will be really cool. Numbered upgrades always are.

Uh, that's highly debateable, lmao. Those antenna lines look like complete crap. If Apple went with that look it will confirm they've absolutely lost their ****ing minds
They need to bring back the space gray shade that was on the the 5s, it was perfect. The current shade is too light and the 5 was too dark.
Dark blue is nice. I REALLY hope this iphone offers something more than just color updates, spec bumps and no 3.5MM. If it doesn't introduce wireless charging or something and amazing in sept to offset the loss for the 3.5MM, you will see Apple Shares drop big time!
Could you imagine, all samsung needs to do is keep the 3.5MM..

AAAAAND.... everyone will just slap a case on it like always anyway...
I know my personal preferences don't necessarily scale up to a global level, but Space Gray is the only shade of Apple gear (provided there's a color option in that range of products) that our family buys. Everything else just looks kind of tacky. I'd be really disappointed to see it go.
options are fine, but please don't force me to give up a nice, timeless neutral tone for whatever trendy colour you're pushing this season. also no dark bezel and i'm gone... GONE.
Except that it has a white front. I never got the appeal of the white front. The bezel should fade away and not compete with the screen. If they get rid of the black front, I'm out. I can't look at a white front phone for more than a few moments before I get annoyed.
Indeed. I dropped my spanking new White 3G in the parking lot after activation. No screen replacement in those days.
They have pink. They call it "Rose Gold". True story.
"Space gray" as a color name makes no sense whatsoever but space gray isn't going anywhere. I just wish Apple would decide what color they actually want to call space gray. I've seen at least 4 shades wearing the same moniker.
That blue looks nice. Since blue is my 23rd favorite color I'm happy it's getting some love from Apple.

If they do this, it will be in addition to a neutral. For me, the black iPhone front bezel looks best because it's more seamless with the display and hiding the sensors, earpiece and camera bits. I think it would be foolish to only offer the black front with a back of any color because people can always match a neutral but feel stronger about various colors. I've always thought it strange that the iPhone comes in three white front options and only one black. I'd like to see dark red and deep blue options for black. But realistically, I'll always use a case until they make the iPhone more protected. I've got a toddler and another on the way!
Please, just make more colors with a BLACK front. So much nicer than the white.
