Why wasn't this colour available at launch? SMH...
I assume it’s to breath new life into an old product, but I agree. I would have taken a Red X had it been an option. Of course, I would also consider a red case if I could find one that I like...

Because even some apps made by Apple still does not support the damn full screen...
The notch is an intrusion, an unrefined implementation of a plan B and a costly design choice. Hence sources saying it's going smaller this year & be gone the next. So Apple must think it's an issue.

I'm still waiting for the Special Notchless Edition.
Or the color Lilac. Gotta keep up with the Joneses these days.

I agree. I consider it more of a "problem" than an "issue."The notch isn't an issue.

That'll be $2000/US only exclusive.I'm still waiting for the Special Notchless Edition.
Too masc for them.I don't understand why Apple is so afraid of the color blue. I want.

That’s one way to boost X sales heading toward the summer, a new color that may be too tempting for the ladies to wait until September.

Ditto. I'm not buying a phone with a notch. Be an iPhone or an Android. That is simply not going to happen.
The notch is not a notch. It is a bezel that does not go across the entire top of the device. It allows for more screen real estate by filling in the corners with screen and lifting the clock and indicators out of the main display area. The notch is an intrusion, an unrefined implementation of a plan B and a costly design choice. You’ve been sleeping too long. It was already released last year. It’s called the iPhone 8.

No. I described a bezel. A notch implies part of the screen was removed. It wasn’t. Part of a screen was added. That’s the difference.I'm pretty sure he refers to a version that doesn't look like the same phone that was released 4 years ago.

You just described a notch.

Which apps?Playing with words is cute and all, but it's still a notch that cuts out a functional piece of the display in full-screen apps.
It's not.

And I won't buy a phone with more than 2 speaker holes, less than 6 buttons, assymetrical usb-port and whatever other arbitrary thing i can imagine that doesn't intrude one single bit. But keep telling yourself the notch is an issue even though every iPhone X user will tell you that they never notice it and that it's not an issue... We (the owners) are all lying...![]()
oI don't concern myself with what an average iPhone X user may think. I don't like the notch, end of story. As long as there's phones with no notch, I'll consider those.
