All this hate ovee a functional area of the iPhone? The Notch is a non issue except for you design wonks, who can’t seem to comprehend that the technology is not in place for embedded camera arrays in the screen, under display fingerprint readers and all the other pipe dreams you people seem to have... I love my iPhone X notch is actually kinda cool to me as it differentiates iPhone X from the rest. And as we see now all the other manufacturers have followed suit on building a notch to make an all screen phone.

If the technology is not there to embed the cameras + touch ID behind the screen, don't release a phone with such technology until it's ready. Pretty simple.

The existence of the notch is a design atrocity and should be laughed at and mocked.

Wow, nice. It will only cost 99 more for the gold and 129 for the shame red edition. But hey, it’s the best iPhone and you’ll only see this coming from Apple.

Not true. The notch is messy when watching full screen videos or playing games, it looks ridiculous as it cuts a big area of content. While using other Apps such as browser or social media the notch is a non issue.

It's not.

Because everybody with an iPhone X forgets about the notch within the first hour of use. That's why the notch isn't an issue. But I guess that it's easy to tell people that you won't get an X because of the notch instead of telling them the real reason...
Your assumption was immediately invalid because of my existence with my case of OCD...

At this point, I don’t believe there will be an iPhone SE 2. There are a lot of renderings and fan made art videos that are not legitimate. And there is no reason for Apple to launch an SE at an educational event, which only leaves WWDC 2018 and the fall keynote. I think Apple keep the SE in their lineup for another year currently and not update it.
that would be sad. I just do not like the new phones. Still using 5 gen. Ordered a new battery.

Regarding the red iPhone. If Apple was serious about raising money for this charity why don't they offer that color right from the start when sales would be most popular? Offering it only as a mid-cycle option feels like Apple is using the charity for their own benefit to jump-start sales during a normally sagging time.
Because money to investors first, then charity.

I don't understand why Apple is so afraid of the color blue. I want.

Same here I would love to see a blue version.
[doublepost=1521510705][/doublepost]I don’t understand why they kee coming out with these hideous colors. Give us a space blue or something cool like that.

On the bright side, Apple finally cut their **** with white bezels on everything but the gray/black phones, at least for this model. Long overdue. Black and gold looks so much better.

Bring out the Gold.. Had a feeling Apple could not turn away from different colors ...

I'm really glad they finally did black and gold I've always been a bit interested in gold but I just really don't like white bezels so I've always stayed away from it. As for the notch I was one that thought it would bug me or more importantly the aspect ratio on videos would bug me but it really hasn't been an issue in use. The notch really fades to the background in real use and for video's I actually found that I enjoyed the full screen more than the notch or aspect ratio bothered me. I just find it looks great when it stretches across the whole screen more than I am bothered by the shortcomings in my use. I was really worried about losing content on the top and bottom of the screen (more than the notch actually) but it really doesn't bug me I'm mainly looking at youtube videos or quick things on FB and it's easy to switch back if I really wanted to but I never actually find myself wanting to do it. I can tell that I'm losing content sometimes but I'm not doing critical video watching on a small screen anyway so it usually doesn't bother me too much it does however look really great to see edge to edge screen so I find myself using that when possible.

Because of that I think my experience with the X has been better than I expected and it's one of my favorite phones in a while. I get if these things bug people I actually thought some of them would bug me but overall it's been a great phone and my favorite in a while. I'd also just add that Face ID is really great, it is a game changer to me to be able to unlock apps or enter a password by glancing at the screen and it is my favorite update in a long time, probably since the fingerprint sensor itself.

Different colours are a waste of time... goes straight into a protective case as it's so fragile o_O

It's no surprise they're going to come out with a pink iPhone X. Pink, jet black, red, all brought in mid cycle to boost sales.

im gonna be mad if they do so but not soooo mad because I actually want the rose gold colour but you cant get it anymore unless you're getting the iPad Pro which is too much for my taste. still have no idea why they changed it to that kind of ****** gold colour. I guess its because the rose gold they use is patent by someone and they are high balling it or something

Agreed.

They are probably too afraid they will misjudge demand.

Or that it will sell more than black or white and ruin their colors of “simplicity”.
That blue is quite nice with a gold apple logo on back I would be sold.
