Not really. People will figure out the release schedule and just wait for the color they want.
 
Yeah, I called this when jet black was shown off in september...

I hope I am rewarded for my foresight with one one of these next September. All you MR forum members can chip in five dollars to buy it for me.

(In all seriousness, I hope I can convince my wife to let me spend extra money to get this white phone. So looking forward to it)

Ceramic white seems to be a given, considering Apple opted for that on the S2 watch. We've seen this previously, where Apple used Rose Gold on the watch and it is being implemented on iPhones next.
Personally I'm getting bored with the silver/grey/gold colors. It is made worse with all the Chinese phones are using the same color palette. I am actually missing the more vibrant colors like the 5c. Heck, I miss the nanochromatic.
If you look at the current Apple color palette, it just looks bleak.

Would be a small bump is sales if Apple released around March with refreshed MacBook, desktops and Apple TV.

Depends. not if you`re reading a website or a book, which are mostly white. There the white bezel actually blends in.
 
The title of this article is perfect. If more had "sketchy" in the title there'd be a lot less complaining about veracity on here. It is mac "rumors" after all.
 
I want a white iPhone like this but with a black front and thinner bezels all around. I hate white on the front because it looks weird with the black display. Eventually the whole front will be display so this problem will go away someday. Maybe they'll even be able to make displays that are white when off and don't look like gross e-ink.

Agreed. The first world hand wringing over colors of their friggin' phones is just ... well ... odd.

Samsung has done that color and tons more. Apple is way behind in this kind of superficial crap (behind in technology as well, btw). Once you realize that Apple isn't the only company that makes cool phones these days, you won't be so surprised when you see a competitor that has something that apple has copied.
