I picked up a $4 clear plastic case from amazon for my iPad 2...I just hated the sound the aluminum made on my coffee table when I put it down....it sounded like my resale value slipping away.

Bought a nice red leather smart cover with my ipad 2 and have hardly used it.

Got a Targus TPU cover for the back and it has been fantastic. Very cheap from Amazon UK and it is all I have used for nearly a year. Fits perfectly.

It is still in great condition. I remove it regularly to dock the ipad.

It even fits my new ipad with ease!

Which Sleeves?

Hi

Which sleeves do you guys use with the smart cover? All the ones i find are too tight and would pull the smart cover off.

Thanks

I put nothing on mine, and I only use the smart cover when I need a stand or I'm taking it out pside my home.

I'm waiting for Belkin's Snap Shield http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=650033

Anyone know of any other smart cover compatible rear shells in the UK?
I'm waiting for this case too. I wanted a clear matte back cover compatible with the smart cover and having the magnet on the back is a big bonus.

You can also check out macally. I believe amazon uk has the new iPad cases up for sale. I almost ordered the cover and back combo from macmall since it was a cheaper than I paid for the apple smart cover.

On both the ipad2 and new ipad I have just bought a Zagg skin for the Kindle fire or similar size and put it on the back center. Does two things, has a nice slightly rubbery feel and grip to keep it from slipping out of my hand and keeps the highest part of the back from getting scratched when I set it down on a flat surface.

Got a very cheap one off Amazon for $7, fits like a glove, high review ratings & looks beautiful! Here. Hmm the seller has raised the price to $22. Wow. Glad I got it when I did.

Artwizz SeeJacket Clip. Very best material, rubberized, feels great, sort of like the first official Apple iPad case. Love it.

Not on my iPad 2. Used to have a Switcheasy Coverbuddy on but still managed to get a tiny scratch on it even with the case on. So now that first scratch is there i'm not bothered about getting anymore on it. I doubt I will be selling the iPad 2 by time the next iPad comes out next year i'll probably just give it to a family member so i'm sure they won't be bothered about a few scratches on a free iPad.

I ordered a bodyguardz for the back this time, delivers on Wed. For the iPad 2 I had a bestskinsever which I liked and for my iPhone 4s I have an iWrap. I'm just trying them all out :p

The back scratches very easily if its in a backpack or a brief case with other items. I'd much rather leave the screen unprotected than the back. I think the glass is much more durable than the aluminum.

That being said, I have a skin on order to use with my new smartcover.

I use a "frogz" back which is compatible with the smartcover. It is clear so i can see the engraving, apple logo, etc. It definately protects the back from any damage.
