how are these apps working on SL?

Audio Hijack Pro
Azureus
MPEG Streamclip
ShakesPeer
VLC
xACT

These are all pretty important to me because I love my live Genesis recordings, and these have turned out to be extremely helpful.

New Vuze out
VLC seems fine.

At least for me messenger:mac freezes when resizing window while in video chat.
Anyone else have this issue?

Sadly, Chax does not work.

Also, my HP LaserJet P1006 stopped working. The printing queue returns some sort of error from PrintJobMgr. I installed foo2zjs drivers from OpenPrinting.org to get it to work again.

EDIT: New drivers from HP (released 15 Aug 2009) did not solve the issue. PrintJobMgr unexpectedly quits whenever you queue a job.

HP said they only support these printers in 10.6

Luckily all three of our printers are included. Haven't upgraded though because there appears to be a few Office 2004/2008 issues yet to be resolved.

Cheers,

Lost applications

I lost all of my applications when I installed Snow Leopard and had to re-install. The re-installed Acrobat 8 crashes but other Adobe products work okay. Apple asked if I would send my MacBook Pro to see if they can determine what happened to my applications. I haven't heard of anyone else with such a problem

I'm also seeing PrintJobMgr failure when I try to print to an Epson 3800. Happens from Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Preview. I called to Epson four times today and their last suggestion was "format the drive and reinstall 10.6."

Are there any compatibility issues anymore with certain programs? And is there an easy way to tell if I currently have any applications that aren't compatible without purchasing and installing Snow Leopard to begin with?
