... But not cut and paste ...

What are you smoking? You can copy *or* cut, and then paste, always could.

If you're talking about the stupid file copying thing, that's something different, but you didn't say so in your original post.

Cut... and paste. Cutting files out of folders and pasting them elsewhere.

I say just drag the freaking thing, but then again, I use OS X as Apple intended it.

Yes, you're right. Dragging a file half way across your system is clearly an easier option. I'm sorry. I shall bow down to your self-righteousness in future. ;)

You can't cut files in the Finder at all.

It was a joke. ;)

I think you'll find they are putting back features that were seemingly taken out for no good reason.

I'd love the ability to send messages via bluetooth from address book again...:confused::mad:

Wait they took this out? I forgot about this entirely - it was great. This would be great with an iPhone synced up via bluetooth (yeah, not going to happen).

i'd still love a totally black Mac OS. white/light gray is ugly, causes eyestrain and wastes more energy:apple:

No it doesn't...black drains the most energy from LCD:s as the pixels need to be fully active to block the backlight (as opposed to white light when they just let the backlight through).

EDIT: Please disregard this, saw that it was already answered earlier in the thread

One feature I kinda wish we had is a smart copy. I'm tired of trying to copy a file to a folder and getting the "A file with the same name already exists in this location Cancel or Replace" messages. If I'm trying to copy a newer version of the file, just replace the old file. If they're 2 different files, just rename one. I remember hearing how this was planned for a Mac OS update, but can't remember which.

"Hooray" for adding a feature Windows has had since 1995.

Now can we get Finder to actually ****in' cut and paste?

As a user of Leopard, while I haven't really been "inconvenienced" too terribly by the absence of "Put Back", I will welcome its return with open arms. It's something I regard as a practical feature. Stacks, on the other hand...

Stacks is a UI metaphor which clearly some people find of use. I'm not one of those people, so while I don't begrudge others the chance to have "better and better" versions of it, it's not something I'm going to "break in the bulkheads" either wishing or requesting.

Honestly, I'd rather see Apple put the development resources into making Front Row a Windows Media Center killer.
