So i need new socks...after watching 'I am legend''

i really enjoyed the movie. when i first saw the previews, i notice the 07 shelby gt500......so i had to go see it. at first i thought they were going to show what is happening and then how he gets through it, not flashbacks (sorry if i spoil it for anyone) didnt like how sam died though.

9/10:D

that was soooo sad when she died

I actually liked how they did it though. Everbody in the theature was sad, people were crying. What made it even sader and this was all in the genious of the filmmakers, was that through the whole moves he was calling the dog Sam, and right when she died you found out that it was samantha.

Although I still think that if I was him I would have put the dog in one of the cages so that when I came up with a cure..........

Saw it opening night. As another poster said, it was "good," but not great. Again echoing another poster, Smith did great with what he was given. He is an amazing actor, who just seems to get better and better, in my opinion.

I thought this movie was great!
I have a feeling, though, that you either have to watch the older "Omega Man" movie, or read the book to fully understand how the story goes.

Most people don't like the way it ends, but I on the other hand like the change from the typical happy-go-lucky ending where everyone lives under the most impossible chances.

Its a good film, makes me feel like Im watching a classic all over again, but it's just not the type of film for this generation...

8.8/10

Uh, ok, so needing new underpants I could understand, but... why new socks?

methinks, "it knocked his socks off";)

Really, I've never even seen movie that could do this, let alone one that would cause me to need new undies. But watching the classic Steve McQueen movie "Bullet"...speaking of Mustangs, on a large screen with sound turned up, does give me some motion sickness :p

"I am a Legend"?
Legend in your own mind...to be sure ;).

Uggg, I went tonight thinking, its got Will Smith, how bad could it be...

It ranked up there with Castaway in terms of excitement...

A few good parts, but I could have waited for the rental.

Maybe it was the 30 minutes of previews before they started the damn movie.

Although it looks like the new JJ Abrams movie could be interesting (Cloverfield?)

the previews are the best part ;)

Is it at least better than I, Robot?

i sure hope so

Wasn't too impressed...

I really REALLY wanted to like this film after watching the trailers, but it really didn't keep my attention.

Plus the ending felt like a massive slap in the face of post 9-11, we can kill all the terrorists, mega american patriotism, happy sunset ending, at this point I gave up watching, ironically it was the end so it didn't make much difference :p

Maybe I need to watch a better copy or something but still, couldn't get into it.

I think you nailed it with 'Bullitt', I am still looking for my underpants!!!. I am terribly frightened that a remake with Brad Pitt is in the works. Why does the industry keep screwing with perfection?:confused::confused:

Just saw it today. I was disappointed. It wasn't at all a bad movie, but it wasn't anywhere near as exciting as the trailer promised. And the CGI was lousy. I was also expecting it more scary, but it really just wasn't.
It wasn't bad, wasn't great either though. I'd give it a 6.5 out of 10.

Recommendation: rental, not worth the drive to the theatre.

I guess I'm late :p

Just saw it tonight. Great movie, i loved almost every aspect. I liked the ending too.

I loved how Will set up all those traps, but only to have them used against him.

i saw the movie today, and i thought it was good. loved all the apple technology in there also :apple:

I almost cried when i saw that 30" ACD break when it fell:(:p

i came close to crying when sam died. i'm glad they didn't show the dog when he had to kill it. Just his face. The dog was his last connection to the past.

but i will agree, the CGI could have been better. I don't think they gave them a very big budget for the movie.

But i still love the movie for what it is.

after seeing the final scene in his lab, i thought "man, a halon system would be sweet right now" :p

When the dog was dying and they were showing Will Smith's face, everyone started laughing in the theater. They obviously didn't get what was happening, and I have no idea why. That kind of annoyed me. Overall I thought it was good, but the ending disappointed me too. Will Smith did an excellent job though.

The little part about God was very random and didn't seem to fit in. They should have used it throughout the movie or not at all.

The movie was alright, but the book was really much better.

Yeah, I saw the movie and thought it was not bad. Then I heard what the book is about and realized the movie sucked.

Seriously, the book makes so much more sense and would have been so much better than that crap-tastic ending the film had.

I saw it too... was a good movie but it had too many lose ends.... and it was a little over-dramatic in parts.... but hey thats how movies are....

Is it at least better than I, Robot?

I didn't think so, I personally liked I,Robot much more. Will Smith did a great job but the story line just seemed a little weak IMO. After it was over I thought to myself "Yea.............and??????" The structure of the film is actually quite similar to I,Robot, as the movie progresses you find out a little bit more of how everything came to be but I found it to be somewhat vague and could have went into a bit more detail.
