The graphite scratches easy - that’s why I returned it .... and shows prints especially on the back !!

Wouldn’t all the stainless frames on all the colors scratch just as easily?

Haha good one - typo! Yeah I think they alllll scratch about the same. I must say, the silver on the back hardly shows anything!
I was surprised at how different the Pacific Blue looks in person compared to youtube videos and Apple's keynote. It looks darker and more refined.

But the Gold is just as light on the back as the silver, Well close. But that band pops!!
I think if they all are going to be print magnets then might as well not even let that be a factor, you know?!
So was I, it looked kinda ugly. Then in person much better. I was all about the M Green. Then they just took away. So I am boycotting the blue. Lol
The silver iPhone is absolutely stunning, since my last 3 iPhones have been silver, it’s time to join team blue this year.
Was at Apple store this afternoon. Looked at all the colours in person. I am coming from a silver XS max.
my preference is 1. Graphite and blue, 2. Silver and gold.
now the problem is what I am going to choose between graphite and blue.
Both are so good.
Frosted Graphite actually has a metallic shine at certain angle that with the dark stainless steel band is kickass.
pacific blue is dark enough to look like black in certain angle but doesn’t have the metallic shine graphite has.
I am going to debate myself with this two in my head and come Saturday morning will preorder both and going to live with graphite and blue for couple of days and decide.

Won’t have that issue if screen protector and casing are applied immediately outta box. Feel sorry that you are triggered for other’s personal preference.
Silver all the way. I went to the Apple store to look at the silver and I’m convinced it’s my phone. All my other models look nice of course but the silver speaks to me.
1). Reminds me of my 5th gen white iPod with the silver back. It reminds me of the classic Steve Jobs Apple.
2). Silver is beautiful. Very nice color, and I love the silver bezels you can see when looking at the screen. It’s a small sliver of silver but I see it and love it.
3). I always though the camera looks really classic it reminds me of old cameras and the white accentuates the camera.
4). Best of both worlds. I can put a dark case on it and it looks like a black slab with screen. But I can take the phone out and get this nice silver-white phone.

I've had Gold iPhone 12 Pro 512 Sim-Free version for almost 2 weeks now. I'm already bored with it. So, Pacific Blue it is. I honestly think it comes down to personal preference.
I was so high on Gold since i saw them in person. First Gold I was ever going to get. but decided Graphite was for me. I mean does it really matter with a case on. Do you go naked or wrap it up?

Naked all the way. I dont use a case. However, I do baby my iPhone lol.
Graphite is a great color too. Alot of people are liking it.
I think this might be my first year I go naked. This is probably the best year to date of finish’s and bands. Although I don’t baby anything. I have huge hands and play sports so it’s always dropping and getting dirty. I am a boy, without a purse. Lol

Same here with the addition of a Baltic Blue Leather Link Band for my Blue S6 Watch. I usually get gold, but this year it is too yellow for me so blue it is.

I see your little tag line at the bottom says you‘ve been going hard on macrumors since 2005. Saw your contribution and I’ve already outpaced you in one year. I must be the rock of Gibraltar in hardness. Regarding the silver 12, scratch heaven on the sides. Don’t want to spend time buffing the damn thing during ownership. I’ll stay with the more involved coating process on the gold color or possibly the blue if I’m feeling squirrley. Now that’s funny
