Since hypertension detection is a SW/LLM feature available on S9/U1 or later, the other new features are quite meh for me.

Given that the Ultra didn't get an upgrade last year, I'm rather disappointed tbh. My 2 year old U2 will hold just fine for another year if not longer...

The general consensus was if you have an Ultra 2 keep it. For me with the AWU1 it was a significant upgrade.

So if the new watches are 5G, does that mean that when we transfer our cellular plans to the new watches, we will automatically get 5G. In the UK, two of our service providers are offering 5G including EE, which I have my current cellular plan with for my watch

Just as the stream was ending the store came up, so I pre ordered the Ultra 3 (Upgrading from my OG Ultra) and delivery for launch day!! I am staying with the natural look as I have heard the black scratches easily and I cant deal with scratches lol
My ultra two in black is absolutely pristine. It’s had a few hard knocks but no impact on the case.

Upgrading from my Nike S7 watch!!! Super excited about the Black AWU3 + Milanese loop :) not excited about that sept. 19th delivery date though I kind of assumed it’d be available at least by next week

I just ordered an AWU 2 from Verizon. It's on a bit of a sale ($150 off) and the updates from 2 to 3 just don't seem worth spending an extra $150.

I noticed that the Ultra 3 has faster charging than the 2, though still slower than the 10/11.

Apple states this for the UW 3: 0–80% in about 45 minutes; 15 minutes for up to 12 hours

I don't think it's slower, remember it's about double the capacity so will need longer time to get to 80%

The Ultra update seemed a bit underwhelming to me, given my 100% battery capacity. I may upgrade it eventually, but not immediately. Maybe an Hermes model. But it’s not a must upgrade by any means.

The Series 11 upgrades were more than I was expecting. Could be time for me to swap out my Series 7.
What upgrades are you referring to, for Series 11 vs Series 10?

For me, the upgrades appear minimal (5G, Longer Battery, Flick Gesture).

I am delighted that the Series 10 appears to also be getting the Hypertension notifications.
