Ultra 3 Titanium, Bright Blue Trail loop.

Coming from an Ultra 1. Not a whole lot of an upgrade and it loses the Oxygen Saturation monitoring. However, my battery life is dropping, so I ordered the 3. I've gotten a new Watch every year since the first one - only skipping last year with the Ultra 2. Nothing new except the black color.

im trying to repair live, on their site now since 1 PM EST
as my se 2023 10 os watch is dire need for a replacement battery
but  said....typed that I "need to upgrade to 11"
as that second hoop I had to jump through , the 1st was to un-watch the watch, turn off "find my"!
been an hour......sill downloading
SO
is life easier if I used a sledgehammer on my old watch instead of upgrading
an just buying a new one?

dicsisions dicsisions dicsisions!

actually i'm not expecting a reply or like, just trying to make send of all this today.

What upgrades are you referring to, for Series 11 vs Series 10?

For me, the upgrades appear minimal (5G, Longer Battery, Flick Gesture).

I am delighted that the Series 10 appears to also be getting the Hypertension notifications.

They addressed probably the major pain point of the aluminum models - a more scratch resistant screen. Also, the battery life improvements are also nice. The aluminum Series watch will likely be on sale from Amazon at $329 or so in a few months - and that will be an awesome buy for those on older Series aluminum watches. I will likely upgrade my Series 7 - which I like, but has lackluster battery life when I wear it (around once a week in rotation with my Ultra). I just wish the “Space Grey” was a bit darker.

I pre-ordered the Hermès Series 11 with Bordeaux Kilim. It's my first Hermès AW, so I am excited. I have three Kilim bands I purchased over the last year; I love them so much it finally convinced me to get the Hermès.

I'll see how it is and decide whether to go back to the regular titanium in the future. I'm hoping to finally be able to wear my old SS link bracelet.

Already processing my order it seems

Ordered an Ultra 3. My Ultra 1's water resistance has gone to crap, so now it tries to call 911 every time I wash my hands. Needless to say that I'll be adding AppleCare this go 'round. Thankfully with trade in and gift cards I'll only be out $100.

Sticking it out with my Ultra 2 for another year. Always on seconds and more battery are nice, but I've gotten in the flow of charging the U2 at my desk so then I can use it for workout/sleep tracking.

Apple may have gotten me if they introduced a new band style, but alas, nothing but new colors.

I am debating on the 11 or the Ultra 3. Are the new watch faces only available on the new models

if you care......

I ordered the n-EEEW SE with a $60 promise on the older 2023 watch
THEN
my quasi -bhuddist vegetarian/plant based food infested brain and soul inspiringly whispered "not to".
and purchase the POLAR Loop instead.
I can add a link if nesc, as this device is faceless, non-subscription and runs 8 day without a charge.

Namaste everybody!

I went with slate titanium 😮.

I’ve always got silver, so it really will be a change.

I can always switch to my natural S10 when I fancy it.

👍🏼
I'm deciding between the two natural and Slate. I've always ordered the space black/dark SS ones... How have yours held up over the years? What about bands. The black dark watches goes with everything. Most of the bands I wear are Navy/black/gray...

In the UK, two of our service providers are offering 5G including EE
Are you sure? On the support page on Apple's website the only carrier with the footnote about 5G support is EE.

There's a page on EE's website confirming, "The new iPhone 17 range and latest Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Ultra 3 will be compatible with EE’s 5G standalone service."

I have ordered an Ultra 3 to replace my Ultra 1, Apple are giving me £235 trade in value which is not bad for a two year old piece of Tech.

I am with O2 so hoping to get 5g support

Trading in the OG Ultra for an S11, just deciding which of the Nike bands to get. The new green Ocean Band is pretty awesome and the additional batter almost persuaded me to go for another Ultra but I’m switching to Coros for running so the Ultra is a bit overkill for everyday use.

currently have ultra2 and see no significant upgrade urgency or must have. the 5G and satellite would be nice but neither service is available here as far has i know and some of features mentioned tonight are available on current models like sleep score and the new ultra face shown in photo

Priced out an Hermes Ultra 3 - $1,229 net after my Ultra trade in. Unfortunately just not worth it. I’m better off upgrading my Series 7 to the Series 11 for $250 or so net (assuming Amazon eventually sells the watch for $349 or $329).

I think 3 are listed.
So if the watches are compatible with EE 5G standalone service, will we get that by default if we have a Sim plan already?

Sorry if I missed this, but the rumours were that the AWU 3 would have slightly less bezels.. I can't find any mention of this on Apple's webpage for the AWU 3.

Compare it to AWU 2 and you’ll see the dimension is different and bezels are smaller slightly.
