So what new Apple Watch are you ordering?

One of the big reasons I'm doing in store pickup for AirPods is my last two launch day AirPods purchases (AirPods 4 & APP 2) both had creaky lids and I had to exchange in store to get one with better tolerances.

I'm coming from a GPS Series 8, the first watch I've purchased without cellular and I regret that decision. At the time my thinking was I always have my phone on me but I'm starting to like the idea of always having a device on my wrist that I can communicate with even if my phone is lost, dead, or broken. I've psyopped myself into (probably) ordering the iPhone Air this year despite all its shortcomings (camera & battery) so having the Ultra with its marathon battery seems like a reasonable backup for essential comms.

Yeah I am doing the same. I have a 9am slot for my Ultra 3 and APP3’s at my local Apple Store and hoping for the same after Friday for my 17 Pro Max. As yiu say, any issues and I can sort out on site with them

Upgrading from AW7 Alu. I ordered AWU3 natural titanium with the Milanese loop.
After 3 years of use, my battery already needs service. Hopefully, the AWU3's battery will last longer.
My first Apple Watch (AW3) still had a battery health of 96% after 5 years.

Paid for it mainly with my Apple Balance in vouchers (£950), the rest by card. Card still not been charged though my Apple Balance is now zero. Wonder when they will take the £350 from my account?

You have the U2 Hermes atm and are getting the same as me this time? Have you put WatchOS 26 RC on the current one if so and is the new Hermes face on? Also, is the Circulaire face got color configurations for the Ultra? I have the new face on my S7 Hermes, but no colour configs. Lol ignore if I have confused you with someone else and you don't have the Hermes Ultra :)

Replaces my Series 9, 45mm, Midnight. It's largely a side grade I know but the extra battery life going from advertised 18 hours to 24 hours is enough for me. The battery life is the one thing that disappoints me about the Watch. I've noticed I'm having to charge my Watch a lot more so I think it's time for a new one. Also the slightly faster charging time will be useful as well.

I'm getting £110 trade in for my Series 9 so the actual cost is £289. I recently got rid of my MacBook Air so that will cover the cost of the Series 11, Airpods Pro 3, AppleCare+ for both of them, and a new case/screen protector for my iPhone 17 Pro Max. So I've basically swapped my MacBook Air for a new Watch and Airpods :D

Yeah I have the Hermés U2 and have watchOS 26 installed since the beta version that fixed the "Hermés bug"... works fine since then.
Yeah the new Hermés face is there, as well as the new colors for the Circulaire face :)

I absolut love the Hermès watch faces. But I came to realize that you can only combine the Apple Watch Hermès Ultra 3 with two bands. And these are not the bands I like. So I would have to spend another 379€ on the Hermès band I like. Even called the Hermès Online Store. No other options here as well. So I won't update my AW Ultra 2 at all.

This is why it ain’t a race for me to get it launch day. No deals vs waiting it off.
