Will be my first iPhone :)

You don't want scratches on your shiny new expensive phone, so you buy a shiny new expensive case for it? You're gonna need a case for that case.

And while we're at it, a "case" that merely clips onto the sides, has no lip on the front, and covers no ports or buttons is no more a case than a thong is a bathing suit.

I ordered the Satin Silver SGP Neo Hybrid 2 EX plus the Cube Back Skin. I have the White iPhone 4s.

I bought both for the GSM version. The cutout on the case looks fairly long, should accomodate the mute button.

Also, the Hybrid 2 EX is slightly thicker than the original Hybrid. This was done since the original case had issues with cracking.

I'm fine with the same bumper I used on my 4..... Cases that cost more than half of what I paid for the phone is not for me... Call me cheap..:p

From what a member of this forum pointed out to me be sure you order the CDMA version of the SGP Neo Hybrid 2 EX or iPhone 4S specific version because of the mute button location, physically dimensions are identical for both CDMA and GSM however, the iPhone 4S will be in the form of the CDMA iPhone 4.

Top one is CDMA

This is the iPhone 4S

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I figured this would clarify confusion to all of those who do not know if old iPhone 4 cases will work or not pending on if you are CDMA or GSM.

Credit to EvoNiner1986 for pointing this out to me for the SGP Neo Hybrid EX II case that I wanted, ordered GSM version at first and reordered the CDMA version but the EX, not EX II through this website http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004T59BC0

I'll just see if the GSM model works.

SGP does not offer the Neo Hybrid 2 EX for the CDMA version. They only offer the original Neo Hybrid EX, which is made of thinner plastic.

If it doesn't work, I'll just send it back or resale it.

Don't do it. One of my employees saw my incipico feather and tried to buy something better, thought that it would be better because it was metal. But metal does not deflect a impact, it 'absorbs' it. Transfers it to the underlying surface, which in the iphone 4S's case is tempered 'gorilla glass'. Tough glass, but still glass.

Needless to say, you know the first time he dropped it, what happened.

And this buy is a engineer. Lol. :)

This is the case I use for my iphone 4, and will again for the 4s. Protects better than you would think. Dropped my iphone 4 multiple times with hardly a scratch.

Nice matte, feel. Will not slip out of the hands, grippy. Unlike metal.

Same thiness, lighter and better at protecting your phone.

Thats not true, You don't need a lip on the front, when you drop your phone 10 times out of 10 it falls on the corners, very unlikely it will drop on the flat screen. I would not recommend to try it but try to drop your iphone on a bed, see if lands on the front screen while holding it screen up or with the screen facing you. As you would be a on phone call or holding it in your hand.

Very hard to do.

Never had it happen. When you have a lip on the front its hard to clean the screen.

No thanks. used this case for a year with not one scratch or dent on my iphone 4. It is in as new condition.

Dropped the cash on this today: http://www.graftconcepts.com/products/metal-leverage-iphone4-case

Went with black with the matte lever, for a white iPhone. Saw pics of the white one on a white phone, a bit too much white...plus I'm sure the white would get nasty dirty quickly. My sole gripe is that I REALLY hope they come out with a clear backplate for it. You can use the case either as a bumper style, or with the backplate. I love the look of it as a bumper, but want the protection of a backplate. The backplate looks fine, but it would be awesome if they came out with a clear plate, since you can buy the backplates separately. $60 is a lot for a plastic case, but I was actually attracted to it because it *wasn't* metal.

Now to wait 3-6 weeks until it's shipped:(

Also ordered up some of my old standbys, the Power Support Crystal Films for both the back and front of the phone. Together, I think this case and the films on both sides will make for good scratch protection.

I'm hoping that with the new antenna design, I can use the element vapor 4 case without loosing signal strength !

Hey, thanks for the recommendation! I really like the Incipio...decided to bump up to 64gb with this case instead

If It was clearance does that mean for some reason they don't think it will fit/work with the iphone 4s?

If you're asking in regards to the Element case, the clearance was because they were moving warehouses. The CEO of the company sent an email the other day promising that their current cases will fit the 4s no problem.

I called otter box directly and they said no.

They aren't. On the website it says the iPhone 4 cases are not compatible with iPhone 4S. I have an iPhone 4 otterbox defender, and the camera part on the iPhone 4S case is bigger due to the increase lens size. If you use the 4 case, your camera will not be able to get the full periphery.

wow beautiful case I will be buying one too. thanks!

I also placed an order for the Graft Concepts Leverage case today in Black/Matte for my black iPhone. Hope the wait time is closer to 3 weeks than 6!

Would also like if they offer a clear backplate in addition to the matte black one so I don't have to cover up the gorgeous back in order to protect it.

...Also in case I decide to change my backplate and want the additional protection from the Graft backplate

Can't wait till it all arrives :D

Nekkid.

As with my iPhone 4, my 4S will also not have a case. The only thing I put on it is a back, clear film. That's to take the scratches. No scratches on my phone and it's been nude since day 1.

Probably going to go with the Otterbox Defender. Im also considering the Griffin Survivor, however no info yet on 4S compatibility.
