I might go with the defender instead. But I'm hearing proximity sensor is different on the 4S. I just don't like the rubber all around the phone. Hard for me to put in/take out pocket.

Exactly. Trying to take a rubbery phone case out of a regular cut jeans pocket is like giving birth to an infant. If I wore skinny jeans, I'd REALLY be in trouble there.

Probably going to end up with an InCase.

no case > i don't understand why peeps want to cover up the beautiful design :p

yes, it gets messed up but if you don't have plan to resell it later, who cares. things r more beautiful w. a little character...

There is nothing redeeming about having a scratch in the middle of your screen. It ruins your whole experience. I have one and am reminded everyday about how I should've had a screen protector on it. And I am anal about my iPhone and have no idea how it got on there.

If it makes you feel any better, I bought a Speck Candyshell for my 3gs when I first got it and the case is still in great condition (the only case I've ever used for the phone). I intend to buy a new one for my 4s.

My only concern is I can't get a feel for how much thickness it adds. That is the only thing holding me back.

I'll definitely be going with a Mophie Juice Pack Air, because I've had one on my 3GS for the last 2 years and it's been remarkable. I can honestly get about an extra half day's worth of usage out of the phone with the juice pack air. And being that I have 3G always turned on, and am using it to stream and browse, as well as access apps all day long, I definitely need the extra boost.

I wonder if the juice pack air that is designed for the iPhone 4 will work for the 4S?

Love my Mophie. I use the gps and stream radio all day.

I decided on this one

White Speck candyshell all the way, second i saw it i thought... THATS THE ONE! Pretty good protection, and makes it easy for me to get it out of my pocket. Plus still keeps the iPhone looking sleek!

I'm thinking about buying the Speck CandyShell case, not sure though. It looks pretty nice. Anyone have that case and can recommend it?

Every Candyshell I've bought for my iPod Touches have broken on me, the little rubber on the bottom towards the home button tends to snap off.

I'm thinking about picking up one of these... I'm only gonna put screen protectors on it.

I plan to resell it, but i take care of my **** :)

Are you sure it will fit? They don't have it listed under the 4S section. Are you getting the CDMA or GSM version?

I'm getting the GSM version, I am not too worried about it not fitting because Apple bumpers work with both supposedly.

I really like the Candyshell minus the huge, awful logo on the back.
