I am deciding between these two cases -

Viewing both cases it seems thats the Otterbox protects the iPhone screen more than the candy shell - but I am making the judgment because the otter box surrounds the entire phone. Is the candyshell a decent case for protection for the iPhone screen?

Thanks for your help

I got this ugly blue green iFrogz case, but I just realized it won't fit because it is for the AT&T iPhone, so I went on eBay trying to get a black iFrogz case then figuring out that it would not fit also. So I just got the same case as what I currently have for my iPhone 3GS, I got the Incase Slider in black off eBay. But I did use the power support crystal back case for my 3GS but it scratched up the bezel too so I went to Incase. Power support crystal screen protectors are VERY VERY good, I have used it on my 3GS for 2 years with no problems until a few days ago I smushed it so there is a permeant air bubble.

I asked the Apple Store Chat about the proximity sensor and Otterbox cases. They said they couldn't say about that specific case, but every case Apple sells on their site for the 4 will work with the 4s. They also said the camera and proximity sensor were in the same place. Time will tell, but I trust the Apple chat guy more than the Otterbox people.

Yep. Look at the white 4S, it's got the same proximity sensor as the 4. The black one is identical to the white one (you just can't see it).

I ordered the switcheasy nude. It comes with two screen protectors and a cover for the bottom of the iPhone as well as one for the earphone port for $20!

I really just wish apple made a red bumper. They always make product red stuff, but I guess not for this. I'm gonna get a clear protective front. I'll try it no case for a while, but will probably look into The neo hybrid ex. I really hate bulky cases.

I'm a big fan of Apple design and so don't like to cover it up in generally ugly cases. However, I asked myself the question "What can possibly trump Apple's great design?". The only answer I could think of was nature's design so I whipped up a skin based on some hot-as-**** K-Pop grrls and sent it off to gelaskins. :D

I can guarantee there will not be another iPhone 4S like it in the universe. :p (ok can't guarantee that anymore as I upload the files needed get one made to the group's international fan site :))
I lol'd !

no case > i don't understand why peeps want to cover up the beautiful design :p

yes, it gets messed up but if you don't have plan to resell it later, who cares. things r more beautiful w. a little character...

Which case is that and how much u paid?

It's the new otter box defender for the 4s. Got it from their site using a promo code for 10% off and free shipping, its around here if you look for it. Paid 48.88.

I like the lifeproof case I just need to find out how they are before getting one, but from the start I will be using my Speck Candy Shell until I order a lifeproof, as I got the White 4S

I might get the Griffin Etch with the carbon effect. My friend has one for his '4 and it's really nice. Not sure if it will fit on the 4S though, isn't the mute button position moved slightly.

Need to find out and try and sort one before next week.

Also, is it true the white iPhone 4/4S's are thicker? Would that affect case compatibility?

This is the profile of the case in mind, would the mute switch be OK with the 4S?

I have one of these on my 4 and this case is great, protects, and doesn't get stuck in my pocket, also there is some room above and below the Mute switch so if they moved the switch on the 4S it will still work though.

Really?...I love the feel of my naked 3Gs but know there is a huge risk in that. Now with the upcomming 4S, & the glass pannels, the risk is elevated...At home in the evening I know I will perfer to have her naked, but in prime time, don't you think she deserves ....something?......I am strugleing with this choice!;)

I have ordered an Ifrogz Lux Lean. This will be for a Verizon 4s. My last ATT IPhone 4 fit perfectly into the Tom Tom carkit with this case.

Ordered a black Otterbox Commuter for my white iPhone 4. I like the contrast, especially because the white iPhone is so bright! :apple:

Want a case with more protection this time around as my 4 shattered when dropped in an incase slider:mad:

I just placed an order for an SGP Linear in Smooth White for my white iPhone 4s...So excited! I feel that this case really showcases the white iPhone and provides a nice, clean look
