My bad, watching movies*

But then again I have my ipad for that. I just personally think 16gb for ANYTHING these days is retarded. I can get a 16gb flash drive for $8. My iphone I paid almost $200 should have STANDARD 32 or 64.

With apps like DropBox and streaming music/movies that eliminates the need to bog down your phone with content. That's just my opinion.

I am. I know there is a market for it, but I was just curious how many others on here are also going 64GB.

Once you get done with apps, e-mails/saved documents, maybe a game or none, photos, and add some videos and music, that doesn't leave much space. 64GB for me.

I went 64GB with the 4s and I'm using a little over half of it now, so I think I'll go 64GB again. I see no reason to back off.

:)

im doing 64gb cuz i did same with iphone4s and ipad3 and don't regret it at all. I am a big app guy so apps alone seal the deal for me. In the end, i'm left with about 15gb for movies/pics or anything else so I can't really see myself going with anything lower.

Point me in the direction of a data plan that allows all of that, that is fast enough to permit the same quality and instant playback, as well as a battery that doesnt die over 4 times as fast whilst streaming it.

I know I am again. I only have 5.3GB left on my 64GB 4S. I love carrying all my music with me. Still not sure whether I want black this year, or stick with white. Leaning towards black this year.

Been waiting a while for 64. I still have a 32 GB 4. I am also bumping the wife up from her 16 gb 4 to a 32. I see her using the improved camera a lot more, and her current phone is almost full with pictures.

I am another of the "playlist" gurus, with a number of smart playlists to populate my phone and keep it "fresh" as well. While i certainly don't need 64 gb, I'm all over it. I got good with playlists when the first iPhone was only 8 gb. Before that I would just dump everything on my 60 gig iPod Classic (when it was called the Photo or color or something like that.) I'm also moving more and more of my favorite songs to lossless, so they are grabbing more and more space.

Go big or go home!

I don't stream 24/7 so I don't have an issue with data at all. You have a point on the battery. At the end of the day, 16GB has been working for me since the 3GS and I haven't had a reason to drop an extra $100 or $200 to change it.

I am getting a 64. Just because it's only $100 more and I'd like to have an extra space just in case.

Me. Owned a 64 gb ipod touch and i was constantly maintaining space, so a 64gb is a no brainer.

I tend to not be a hoarder, so I'm definitely going with 16GB. I have a 32GB right now on my iphone4 and have half of the storage free, even more free on my 32GB ipad.

Keep in mind that pics / videos that you take on the phone will be of a much much higher file size. You'll fill it up pretty quickly.

I'm pretty heavily invested in Rdio right now, so a lot of my music doesn't actually have to be on the device. That's what took up most of the room for me beforehand.

With iTunes match / in the cloud, do you stream (similar to Rdio), or does it download the song to your device? (or can you do both?) If it's the former, then 32 is all I need. If it's the latter, then maybe 64.

The rule is "Buy as much memory as you can afford."

My iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4 were both 32GB and after 2 years each was bumping up against the limit, averaging 3.5GB free. This time I'm going bigger. :)

Filling the phone up is not a consideration. I regularly back up all photos/videos to my computer because:

(1) I don't completely trust icloud to back everything up. To fully trust it all to always be backed up automatically, and that it'll restore properly is foolish. I know people that have lost photos even with icloud enabled.

(2) I don't want my icloud to fill up with **** in the first place. A 16gb phone will help keep my phone nice and tidy with the apps and music that I like the most.

Well that answers that.

yeah i dont like the idea of giving Apple another $100 for 32GB but I think it'll come in handy.

Going 64gb. Have had that since it was an option. It makes things a lot easier and you rarely have to worry about managing memory. It's also nice to not have to worry about taking too many photos or videos.

Only issue is that my 50gb iCloud account is constantly full...

I've been umming and aahing over this and was going to get the 32gb as I felt guilty spending nearly £700 on a phone, but £100 extra for double the capacity just makes more sense and I store a lot of videos and apps on my iPhone 4 32gb now, so think I'm gonna pluck up the courage to go 64gb!

I always go with the 64gb. Only use maybe a little less than half that but this way there is no worry.;)

Subjective matter. For some 16 is fine. I don't want to worry about space so I go with whatever the max is. Usage always varies from person to person.
