I think most fast food is disgusting anyway, and I have a special dislike of KFC but that really tops it. Rank.

The cheap for the masses branch of chicken farming is horrendous and completely disgusting. I care. I buy expensive chickens who've grown up leading a nice life. Up until they were killed for me. ;)

I love meat, but I try to buy from sources I trust to have raised it humanely. Otherwise I feel ill when I buy it, when I cook it and when I (attempt to) eat it.
 
KFC was my first job during high school and first to make me fat. :)

I can't wait to try it! salute to the double down!

KFC/A&W was my first real job too! Nothing better than coming home from work and slipping in the garage because your shoes are caked in grease.

And all of those "Look at America, gross, America sucks because of this sandwich" are ignorant and useless busybodies.

If you have a problem with Americans eating awesome food, you can leave, or better yet, move to San Francisco and have your meatless mondays. :eek:

More KFC for the rest of us!
 
This is what happens when a business takes demographics surveys from teenage potheads seriously.. Does it come with grape jelly packets?
 
I think I'll double down on my Lipitor.

Seriously, in the grand scheme of fast food, it compares "favorably." And getting rid of the bun...great for the carb conscious. :rolleyes:

I actually laughed out loud about this. And for the record, I got the grilled Double Down for lunch. Freakin' excellent. Mine didn't look like the photos above. For all the haters out there, go try one and be sad that you ever questioned the Double Down and its poultry goodness.
 
for what its worth.

the grilled chicken one isnt all that bad. I mean if you needed it to surive...its fine.

of course the cheese and bacon add unnecessary fat but its not like killer.

the fried chicken one..yeah bad.
 
Just tried the Double Down.

Verdict:

4/5 Stars

Quite tasty. Doesn't taste all greeezy & junk. Could have used more bacon and some veggies (just a bit).

Better than I expected. :)
 
I brought lunch but I think there's apparently a KFC nearby, I guess I'll take one for the team and order this thing. Will post pictures shortly. ;)

Will post pictures tonight. Coworkers don't want to touch that thing haha...
