Ah, no thanks. I'd rather stick to this:

And it's only US$2.00 for two McChicken sandwiches.

Yeah, but the McChicken doesn't have a catchy jingle! :D

Actually, I used to love the Cajun McChickens. I loved the extra kick they had.

Is it strange that after watching that video I want a Double Down even more? But seriously, I can't take anything PETA does seriously, the same goes for Pam Anderson narrating it. I suppose I'm biased, however, given my location.

agree.
the only thing those peta videos do for me is make me even more hungry.

I cant think of eating that, well not after i stopped eating fast foods. I lost 30 pounds over 8 months by just stopping myself for eating foods like the KFC double down, as much as i would like to have one i am staying far away from it.

Spicy, crunchy, juicy (but not raw) chicken, yes bacon bits and the cheese wasn't quite melted enough. And yes, a little oily, but hell it's fried chicken. This is definitely not the last time I'll eat one of these! :D

Yes

It is good!

I don't know where they got those supposed "in the field pictures" earlier in the thread, because mine looked pretty much EXACTLY how it looked in the adverts.

The chicken was hot and juicy and deliciously fried to perfection, the bacon was crispy and plentiful, and it had two slices of cheese that was more than enough. Granted, the cheese was not melted, but it was hanging out of the chicken so much, I am glad it was not melted.

I could not finish it though, I wanted to save some room for my mac-n-cheese :)

KFC FTW

Well, I pulled the trigger. Thanks to yellow's description, my hungry stomach growled so hard that my boss heard it at work. I got off, went to KFC and tried it.

Conclusion, it's a good thing, nothing wow, but it was good. Sauce was great! I had bacon strips on mine and cheese was actually melted (made it better in my opinion).

Will I try it again? Yes, most definitely. But before that, I gotta burn the 1000 calories I just ingested.

edit - Oh and by the way, mine was very close in resemblance to the ads. I say close because mine had thicker than normal breasts. Hey, I won't complain:D!

Oh, you'll eat my chicken! :D

To what Disc Golfer said... I am most resistant to eating chicken, because I think the animal practices involved in chicken farming are the most egregious, but I would say that I've seen some chicken meat occasionally at farmers' markets, from places that have reasonably appropriate free-range practices.

I do eat eggs, and eggs that are from free-range chickens with at least better, if not appropriate, farming practices, are pretty readily available at farmers' markets, too, and in that case, pleasantly, there are also more and more free-range eggs at grocery stores, about which I'm really pleased.

I feel the same about chicken meat. Thankfully, like you said, it is easy enough to buy happy eggs these days.

Bacon is a vegetable.

LOL! :)

That's like when I used to be a vegetarian and people would still ask, but you eat chicken, or fish...right?

Excellent! Glad you liked it..

I must say, the day after.. The Double Down turns into The Double Deuce! ;)

Well my KFC don't use any gloves when touching food and other stuff, waiting in line seeing all that so I decided to walk out..
