Oh yeah. The mild is kind of bland, but I love the spicy. The KFCs around here used to make a spicy to compete with Popeye's, but they phased it out a couple of years ago. Their spicy was actually pretty good.
I'll probably try one one of these days, when I have easy access to a toilet 😱

Popeyes makes real, all natural, free-range fried chicken......just like mother nature intended.
Well, as promised here are the pictures. I ended up getting it today for lunch. I saw 2 strips of bacon on other people's reviews, mine had crumbled bacon bits... As was expected, unmelted cheese... It wasn't anything that stood out, or unique, just 2 pieces of fried chicken with cheese. Only distinguishable taste other than the grease dripping from my mouth was the 'special sauce' which is no different than ketchup / mayo, aka Big Mac sauce, In n Out sauce, etc.
As far as how the chicken was cooked: It wasn't too dry like some people said, in fact it was quite the opposite. The amount of grease that came dripping out with each bite was unreal... Napkins are definitely required with this 'sandwich'. Would I get it again? Absolutely not. If I wanted fried chicken, I'd just get fried chicken, and probably from a different place other than KFC.

I went straight to KFC after work yesterday and got one. I got the sandwich and a side of mashed potatoes. I dipped the sandwich in the gravy...it was pretty delicious and greasy.

I was thinking about trying a Double Down for lunch this week, but I decided to go with two Cajun Fillet Biscuits from Bojangles on Monday. 😀
