Some Apple Watch Pre-Orders With 4-6 Weeks or June Delivery Estimates Already 'Preparing for Shipment'

It's all about Apple managing expectations. Eveyone would rather hear that they won't get their watch in June and have it show up in May as a pleasant surprise. I think everyone will be surprised how many end up coming on launch day. I mean someone just posted a pic of a June order that is now preparing for shipment!
I could be totally off but here is my guess:
1. Some people ordered multiple watches online as soon as possible. then went into the store, tried the 38, 42 and band styles. then canceled the ones they didn't want. That would certainly affect all shipping timetables.
2. Some watches might have higher production yields. For example. Sport with white band may have a very high run. So they may be able to fufill orders that have later expected shipping date, though that has nothing to do with the space gray sport watch.
Personally I ordered stainless w/ millenase loop, expected 5/13-5/27. No change in status on my order. It is still in the processing stage.

this is actually really upsetting 
I preordered within the first 3 minutes and was given a ship date of 4/24-5/8 and it's still processing while other people that should ship in June are starting to ship

SG Sport 38mm ordered 3:02AM EST...May 13-27...no change

Maybe that's not a good graphic since lots of people think their order is on the Titanic...
Changing orders
I think plenty of people have changed their orders. The first watch I ordered was SS with black sport band confirmation email 8 minutes after midnight. (4/24 delivery) After going to a fitting appointment I cancelled that one and ordered a different one.

omg people. They are different watches! The "later" order were made within seconds of the "earlier" orders. Anyone that ordered after the store was open for an hour has delivery dates of June, and will be lucky to get them by then.
I live in TX, I ordered 2 min after the store went live and I got a 4-6 week shipping window. SS 42mm with white band. My card got charged today and the status changed. Still shows a 4-6 week shipping window even though the status changed. Preparing for shipment and Shipped are two totally different statuses. Maybe apple is just collecting funds to show they have actually made money before they have mass cancellations on the 24th from people that didn't get theirs just like they weren't promised to get it.
I'm wondering the same thing... Any other Cali folks have any thoughts?
FWIW, I ordered an extra charger and it is set to be delivered today by Fedex.
That is awesome! I think this is the first 42mm SG black sport band that i have seen any movement on. So your saying there is hope..

my sport blue 38mm ordered three days later is now charged and showing preparing for shipment. Should be here before June, which was what was originally quoted.

My 42mm SP Sport ordered at 3:06 A.M saying 4-6 weeks still has not jumped yet. :-(
