What I’m not sure of is how many of those scans are what they call “logic” scans and which ones (if any) are physical scans.
Many package scans are logic scans .. meaning for example, if your package is small and therefore to better ensure no damage, it’s scanned and then put into a larger shipping bag. When full, THAT bag is now scanned into the system.. by extension, by logic, every package that the employee scanned into it, will now ALSO show a scan - under the logic that wherever that bag goes- so does everything inside of it..
but.. occasionally, a package maybe scanned into the bag, but accidentally doesn’t physically get into the bag… until an exception scan is applied, it’s going to continue to show scan after scan as the bag moves along.
coming back to the scan history here above, I’ll bet that these are all logic scans and the only one which maybe a physical might be the 9/16 @ 1140 scan.. the next physical will probably be in SDF/ONT/ANC or one of the other gateways where UPS does their inbound customs clearance - this making it a domestic package and eligible to travel with all other domestic volume.
