I have never heard of Geekbench before. Is this a well-known app? What are the chances the phone gets shipped early to someone who knows about Geekbench? Am I wrong or is this fishy? Is she from the media?
You've never heard of Geekbench before? Wow, I'm just a carpooling suburban soccer mom and I've heard of them and check them out when I'm shopping for anything that's got specs they can measure. Well maybe not so much anymore now that I'm simply upgrading Apple devices as they age out. But back when I was comparing systems from rival manufacturers I'd check the Geekbench scores.
 
We're getting 3MB of L2 cache, up from 1MB (iPhone 6)

Also, take note that since she just restored, Spotlight might be chewing some CPU cycles as well.

Apple has definitely done this.
Again, the burden of proof is upon the person making the positive claim.

All I said in my first post is that I'd like some information as to how the other person came to the conclusions he did. He apparently thinks that means I'm being a smartass.

I just saw her Twitter post. It looks like someone posted to tell her to run Geekbench on it. So she's not from the tech press.
