There has been a post of what was supposed to be early lakes GB scores and on it the designation for IPhone 6s was apparently iPhone 8,2. Does anyone recall that Geekbench leak? I'm going to see if I can find it.

I was just wondering the significance of 8,2 vs 8,1 if both reference the 6s model.
For some reason they switched the model numbers around. 7,2 is 6 / 7,1 is 6 plus but 8,1 is 6s now and I'm assuming 8,2 is plus.
Me likey those Geekbench scores... I must say impressed. Desktop class from the Core 2 Duo era in a phone.
Pretty sure some Google searches will reveal what Apple has done in the past.

Innocent until proven guilty means that you aren't required to prove your innocence. The prosecutor is required to prove your guilt.

What? Seems on par with top android phones (S6 edge, Note 5 and S6+ edge all get 4700+).

Apple A series is the Intel whereas the Android processors are the AMDs. A series is just better optimised
The difference is this is a dual core phone. Pretty widely accepted for the average use case, the single core score is much more telling.
Wasn't impressed at all with the 4K sample vid. Hopefully it will take better pics.

Yes as far as Samsung - they've really caught up to Apple this generation as far as CPUs. Good job!

It could be if the 6s CPU is throttling in some way. The new MacBook throttles quite a bit!
That is not an opinion at all but my thoughts regarding the lack of intelligence displayed through your responses are most certainly my opinion.
