I'm the solo developer of Sonant, a macOS app I'd like to share with the community. I built Sonant because I wanted a simple, elegant way to control my music without constantly switching app windows.
Sonant is a native menu bar controller for Apple Music and Spotify. It shows the current track, artist, and album art, with controls for play/pause, next/previous, and scrubbing.
A key feature is a live audio visualizer that has a clean, glass-like design. It's opt-in and uses a CoreAudio process tap, so it visualizes any audio playing from your system without accessing the microphone.
