No, It's all you can deal with. Are you so easliy confused ? So nobody should have more choices cause you can't figure out what the different models do ? Amazing.

No, it's just stupid of them to have so many. It's worse then apple was 12 years ago.

That's where we differ. I'd rather have too many choices than not enough. I miss Apple Computer Inc. I'm glad for their iPod and iPhone success, but it means that computers are not the main focus of the company like they used to be.

Sure, tech geeks like you (no offence) and me can deciffer what all the information about each computer, but most people like my parents can't. But they can understand "this computer is for professionals, this computer is for consumers, etc." that's all I'm trying to say. And there are still tons of options when it comes to Apple's computers.

For once it might be a good idea for them to take product cues from Sony or other companies and release a decent Air or a truly new MBP. One that actually does what it says on the tin, rather than bodges it to be the smallest, thinnest, lightest (but missing way too much stuff I need.)

I could not care when they announce the new MBP (as long as it is this year..) just so long as it really is a new design, with better GPU, Blu Ray (ok please..), HDMI output, integrated 3G/HSDPA SIM slot, ability to use more than 3gb (for F***s sake, 3gb? in a Pro laptop released last year?) RAM.

And a new look to it, 500+ days without a redesign means I am seriously looking at moving back to Sony or Toshiba (all the latest hardware & software and in not that bad looking a bit of kit.)

macbook AIR will be updated first!

to all the waiters of the NEW MBP.., i'm still so happy i bought the February update.. and saved myself from this constant waiting... and waiting and waiting.
seriously, don't you guys think that the MBA will be updated FIRST before they update/ upgrade/ change the case of the MBP?
the MBA was released a month or more prior to the MBP release..

oh well, i am sure.. and i will bet my two pairs of... that as soon as they release the new MBP.. a bunch of threads waiting for nehalem... will sprout like grass.

i guess some people get satisfaction when prolonging the " climax" :D

Thats the whole point of this, you wait.. you buy, you're happy 3 days, then the waiting starts again. That's the fun of it, not owning the computer :D

Or you could just not stress, buy what you need or want when you need or want it, (unless you know they're going to be updated like the next day or week) and then enjoy it. Look forward to three-five years or however often later when you switch computers and how amazing they will be then. ;) Buyer's remorse is a ridiculous thing. Selling something just to get something else that's slightly better when lots would love to have what you just sold is silly.

But I need it for the super-high-intensity-graphic-apps I use on a daily basis!
(that's what kills my buyers remorse :) )
