OP, is that the part in the red square you are talking about?
It looks like manufacturing defect to me. I would send it back and get it replaced.
It's definitely bent.
When I finally received my new iPhone 6 after way too long of a wait (preordered 12th September, shipped on 2nd October) I was extremely happy with it.
That changed quite suddenly a few moments ago. When I had a quick look at my phone, which was in the original Apple Leather Case since I got it, I noticed it having a slight bend but wasn't sure if it was the case or the phone. So I took the phone out of the case and what do you know.... it's bent. Ever so slightly, but definitely noticeable. I've uploaded a picture so you can see for yourselves. It's also very clear in the picture that it bends upwards, not downwards, which I think is weird since all the other iPhones had an downward bend (I think).
I only had it in my front pocket for at most 2 hours since the day it arrived (YESTERDAY).
As you might imagine I'm quite upset. I'm going to contact Apple asap tomorrow (it's 10.30 pm here) to find out what I'm supposed to do.
I'd just like to know if any of you have the same problem with your iPhone 6 (not plus).
I personally have seen 2 bent 6 plus's. It's a way bigger problem than first thought.
True story, bro.
From your photo is quite difficult to see if it's bent....When I finally received my new iPhone 6 after way too long of a wait (preordered 12th September, shipped on 2nd October) I was extremely happy with it.

Looks like it's been dropped at some point.
If you zoom in, there's a scuff mark right by the volume button "ding", and a white scuff further down (right) on the edge of the display.
Excellent shape a 3 days old phone judged just by a single very poorly lighted photo?I can see the bend. Right where the metal meets the glass around the volume buttons you can see it pretty blatantly. It's not extremely severe but that would still be exchange territory for me.
Op id recommend not listening to the people accusing you of dropping it (pretty clear it's in excellent shape save for the bend).
Take it back, you can either mention the bend or just get a refund. With some people being rejected because of the bend id probably get a refund and then go buy another one later if I wanted it. Just to be sure. I wouldn't even mention the bend.
It might be a good idea to rule out a dent and do what a different poster suggested by laying it flat on the screen and pressing the corners to check for wobble. I don't think it looks like a dent but might as well make sure.

And no, I didn't drop it, sit on it, bang it, whatever the delusional apologists try to say... Carried it the same way as my 4 and 5, which looked perfect after 2 years of use.
Then prove it. Until you do it's just useless anecdote.
LOL, prove it to you? I sense strong buyers remorse from you......LOL.
This.
I love Apple, but if my phone will bend from carrying it in my pocket like I did years before, it's time for a change

And it does happen - when it shouldn't.

Goodbye!!
Mine bent the same way, towards the screen. Didn't come that way out of the box, as I had checked it face-down on a flat surface. A few days later of carrying in my front pocket, it wasn't flat anymore.

It's just weak as **** around the bottom volume button. Apple replaced it, and I'll be going back if it happens again.
Don't worry. I'm gonna keep the good stuff. But I pay premium and expect something in return. And until today I did get it, but I'm observing carefully.
Could be that I'm a little older and have to earn my own money.![]()
But you conveniently failed to take any pictures of it. Surprise surprise.

Nice cheap shot. For the record, I'm 50 and my assets place me in the top 5% in the U.S. Probably not a great idea to go around making rash assumptions about people.
Good to know, but I really don't care. Wasn't quoting you btw.
It wasn't dropped, thats just a reflection from the overhead lights.

Additionally, the way the phone is staged, hanging over the case like that, is problematic from a photographic standpoint. It would have been a more useful image if you'd shown the phone face down on a flat surface.
What happens? People claim their phones bend in their pockets?
Your pictures show no evidence of such.
It's a picture of a bent phone. How it got that way is anyone's guess.
Sorry, Twitter is not evidence of phones bending in pockets.

LOL. Good point.
That should of been self evident as most other "pocket bent" phones are shown on a flat surface.
It would appear the OPs photography "tricked" them.
