Apple isn’t dying but I’m slowly becoming disillusioned with their products. I absolutely will not be going to Android though.

I feel like they’re putting all of their eggs in the Vision Pro basket, and that doesn’t mean anything to me frankly.

They go a whole year without iPads and their first release in over a year is done by… press release?

Yeah feel like the life-span of my products are growing for every time - back in the day I had the new iPhone / iPad etc. every time - not any more.

Going to miss the Tiger/Nike collab btw

This isn't abnormal, they've announced products via press release in the past.

Pretty sure they know these products have flaws like bend gate 2.0 and OLED-gate. As always proceed to sell cause after the initial buyer remorse period the fault will show and they already got their money blaming users.
You mean the vastly OVER EXAGGERATED "flaws" that didn't impact the majority of users?

Totally agree. The excitement for future Apple products is quite low (historically low actually).

On the iPhone side, and aside for some minor improvements which are expected each year (slightly better cameras and display, performance gain due to new chip, design tweaks, etc), nothing major seems to be on the horizon in terms of core technology. Same applies for the iPad and Apple Watch. Glucose and blood pressure sensors on the Apple Watch could be big big improvements, converting the Apple Watch is extremely useful health tracker device, but we already heard rumors that the technology is still not there. Vision Pro is great and promising, but not 3,500$ great at least not in its current generation. On the AirPods and HomePod field, there are no rumors about anything really interesting or exciting coming out anytime soon. Apple Car is dead. MicroLED development and deployment in existing products seems to be problematic and uncertain based on the latest rumors. Apple TV+ is getting some new shows and movies from time to time, but the existing content library is still quite reduced and it does not appear that we will get a ton of new content anytime soon. Apple Arcade seems to be struggling and soon to be closed (if we believe the latest rumors). The future of Siri seems uncertain and Apple is obviously lacking behind in AI field.

Either Apple is doing extremely good work on hiding what they are working on and there are 0 leaks, or the next 12-24 months would be extremely boring in terms of new Apple products and services.

you seem triggered by Apple being a boring company. Look at their lineup, how can anyone say there's any excitement? Replace with new CPU every year! WOW, big deal. Rest of the product is exact the same. I did buy and return AVP. In no shape or form is it worth $4k. What else is exciting? iPhone? Same design for the last 6 years is exciting? iPad? They don't ever bother to make any changes to iPad OS. Look at Apple Watch. Stagnant last 5 generations. They are all exactly the same. Say what you want about Samsung or other manufactures, at least they are trying to push the boundaries of technologies and maybe one or two things will stick. Unlike Apple just happily sells the same product year after year because it knows it can count on i-worshippers to buy anything. They will just keep milking the same cows over and over.
No they don't, it's the same iterative updates from almost all the companies. Outside the Pixel Fold all Samsung and Google do year over year is iterative updates. The dumbest argument is people griping about the design of he phone. It's candy bar style, there's only so much you can do, you wouldn't probably want a triangle phone. It's a tool meant to do specific functions, it doesn't have to be fancy.

So this is how it's going to be?

You go to the Apple site, and you have a choice to watch the video or just go straight to the store. No need to wait till the end of the advertisement (while the store is down). :)

I must say this is rather unusual for a major product release with apparently, substantial design changes.
Not unusual at all, they have in fact released products via press release in the past.
