Thanks for the tip! I just ordered one for myself.I've had this since October for my Space Grey sport and love it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013SAJQB2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_bVqJwb9NV1Y53
I hope so...my birthday is at the end of the month. Would make a nice gift to myself. So, do we still think this will come out tomorrow?
So for the record the Amazon band arrived. Thanks for the tip! I just ordered one for myself.

It's not as heavy as the Apple band in my opinion. The connectors where it hooks into the phone took a lot of fiddling before they latched. The black on the magnet closure is already scratched off a bit. For C$50 I am not complaining but this is definitely not an Apple quality band. If they do release a SG Milanese band I expect I will order one of those.
This does the job but my wife's real ML from Apple is nicer on a whole lot of counts. Fit, feel, quality and probably durability. My $19 eBay one is great!

The Amazon SG one I got is visibly thinner.
The "feel" of it is not nearly as nice when you brush a finger along the band.
It took about 8 seconds for some of the SG to come off the latch magnet.
The catches that attach it to the watch were pretty stubborn about not latching and locking into the channels of the watch at first.
If Apple releases a SG ML I will order one of them unless the price is completely insane. (And no I don't know what the exact threshold for that is just yet).
Space gray, space black. All the same to me. My SG Sport watch case is pretty darn black anyway.I doubt they'll release a space grey one. It'd need to be made of aluminium for that...
Until you place it next to a Space Black watch...Space gray, space black. All the same to me. My SG Sport watch case is pretty darn black anyway.
Looks fine to me. Lots of watches are not identically colored to the band and even more are very different.Until you place it next to a Space Black watch...
Opinions on Apple Watch 2:
- Hoping the band changing system will be the same so that if I get the AW2 I don't fell bad about having just bought a $150 band for it.
- Trade in/installment plan:
- Hopefully Apple will offer some trade in or installment plan similar to the iPhone upgrade program.
- This would especially make sense if they are doing a yearly or 1.5 yearly upgrade cycle.
- Hoping there is minor changes to the design, the AW 2 will hopefully focus on: battery improvement, app speed, less reliance on iPhone, and possibly some extra health sensors.

What do you guys think?
I have a link band. I want the Milanese Loop still. Why don't you guys like the link bracelets? I have a black sport (is it called space grey?) and am thinking of getting the black link instead of Milanese Loop. Does it look cheap in person or something? Isn't the Milanese kinda wimpy looking?
Don't be what guy? A guy that doesn't want a band that to me, borders on the line of looking a tad effeminate from pics? Don't be that guy and associate what kind of look I prefer to whatever else you're thinking.I have a link band. I want the Milanese Loop still.
And no, it's not wimpy looking. Don't be that guy.

Cool. Thanks for your objective opinion. I think the milanese looks good, more for dining out or something, but I was also thinking that the link bracelet would have a better cool factor with a digital face circa 1980s. Since it's Amazon I could try both of them out I guess. The link bands are nice. I have the Space Black link bracelet. I might possibly be intersected in the black milanese because I never wear the link bracelet to keep it in good shape. ha.
You do have to be careful with using stainless metal bands on the sport models though. I've seen family chip up the aluminum sport pretty good from sliding the heavy stainless connectors in and out of the sport model.
Yeah, again I think you're the one who's insecure. You know zero about me. Maybe you're just offended that I think the band you have is more on the effeminate side of the fence. Get over it. It's my opinion. The guy that projects his own insecurities onto others.

I think a lot of guys get easily offended and insecure when someone else thinks a product they own looks effeminate. You know, like a man purse. Which I have a few of since they are utilitarian. I actually never said it was a bad thing to have an effeminate looking watch. I would just prefer a bolder watch. Something that is effeminate isn't bold. For example, I'd rather wear pants than a skirt. One is womanly and one is manly. And when someone needs to reply to my posts because I call it effeminate, I know they're offended. I'll be getting both on Amazon and will see in person. Maybe wear the Milanese band for when I go on dates with men and wear the Link band when I go on dates with women."I wouldn't get one myself because I think it's kind of wimpy looking" vs "I can't believe anyone is ridiculous and effeminate enough to get one because everyone knows it's kind of wimpy looking omg lolz I'm the fashion King Kong grrrrr look at me lifting cars on my finger tips wooooo so manly".
I think you meant the former and it was taken to be the latter. I've re-read what you said a few times and I think it does come across somewhere in the middle.
I liked the silver Milanese loop at first try on and that stuck in my head and eventually that's what I got. It's infinitely adjustable (unlike the link bracelet) and therefore good for swelling wrists through the day due to hydration and heat and also it's incredibly light and allows the skin to breathe. Functionally it has a lot more going for it than the link bracelet; it's really at the other end of the spectrum. While the link bracelet can be adjusted by the user without tools, it's hardly an everyday thing to do.
Also the Milanese loop is relatively cheap compared to the link bracelet, I didn't even try the link bracelet on at the time.
