The extra day is worth not having to go to my sorting hub. The few times I've had to pick up a package there, the line was out the door and parking was a mess. There is only a half dozen parking spaces. I think I waited a little over an hour in line to pick up my package.

You're one of the few who doesn't mind the extra time then LOL. That sounds like a major hub. The one I work at is major, but it's not easy to get to so we don't get a lot of traffic so people get in and out quickly. Busy launch days like with the Watch people will line up, but we'll add another person to the counter to keep it from being the world's longest process to get your package.

Just saw huge wave of SG June delivery changed to "prepare for shipping" on a Chinese forum. Mine first window SG is still sitting still. WTF. APPLE.

Weird if true, but you have to admit it doesn't have to travel far. Would love to see my SG BSB go into shipping.

Not all those UPS flights coming into Louisville from AK are Watches are they right now? If they are...geez, 747 (landing now) several MD11. A ton of us should hopefully have updates! That's a lot of watches!

From what are saying, the system was down for a while, and when it's back, a lot of orders with june delivery changed to "prepare for shipping"

ordered mine and says June delivery... other people's that have the same delivery slot are preparing for shipment?!?

I'm in the May 13-27 category and still in processing with no charge. My friend sent me a video of him using Siri on his watch to call me - so cool, and so want my watch more than ever

CC charged Friday morning then changed to prep for ship. Stayed that way until about 17:00 central. Claims the watch is sitting in Louisville since Friday night. It is still there this morning. Supposed to be delivered Monday afternoon. I was :02:04:10. 42mm

So I am speaking to an apple rep and I asked for a verification of my order time. I have a confirmation email of 3:04:54 EST and she told me that my order time is 3:12:xx am EST. She said confirmation emails don't really show your place in line which sounds like a load of BS to me and has just made me VERY upset!!!

No change. Daily plea for the day, if your status changes please include all your vitals including 38mm v 42mm and order time, and your original delivery window. Those of us getting screwed like to know exactly how screwed we are.

There could definitely be some truth to that. It would explain why there doesn't seem to be a perfect correlation between email time and order of shipments.

if there is some truth to that, then I am beyond pissed off to stay up and do everything right and get pushed back by a whole 8 minutes!!!

Have they missed the promised shipping time frame?

Its not about the promised ship time its about how messed up this whole order process has been. If my time was indeed 3:12am then you should quote me at that, not 3:04 and let me get my hopes up for everyone else receiving charges in the same time frame as me.

I hear ya. I got up too and had an order in at xx:06

Would have had it in immediately but the apple app wanted my address with with the word "drive" spelled out, not abbreviated.

Frustrating. I do think it might be premature to judge the shipping order without knowledge of all variables. That's something unfortunately none of us as consumers have.

I think all the Apple defenders are missing the point... To give my own example, it would have been physically impossible for me to order any faster than I did... I began my order process right when the store was open and checked out immediately -yet my delivery window is in May and I didn't even get a sniff of the magical "April 24". There was NOTHING I could have changed to have received a watch on Friday from Apple. So that is where the frustration with this process lies for me. I've never missed a Day 1 release yet, and I've done plenty of early morning "F5-ing" in my time.

So defend Apple all you want (I love their products too, I just got my new MacBook on Friday), but there was never even close to enough stock to justify the "April 24" campaign.
