And this one:

Your order is shipping sooner than expected.

Thank you for choosing Apple.

Wtf is going on in Cupertino?

When did you order and what time was your original confirmation email?

Anyone that got charged and went to shipped yesterday get live tracking? My UPS tracking just shows "Order processed: Ready for UPS" with a scheduled delivery of tomorrow. Hoping it's actually tomorrow but UPS doesn't have the package as of yet. Also my Apple "shipped" email says "Delivers by Apr 28" which is tomorrow.

Origin for the label shows as MOUNT JULIET, TN, US.

Shipping to NYC.

You'll be fine. My 38mm white sport didn't switch from "en route to a UPS facility in PA" / no date until the middle of the night the day it was delivered.

Meaning, there was still no status change and no estimated delivery date when I went to bed the night before I got it. Everything happened overnight and then it was out for delivery. Apple's system never showed me an expected delivery date. In fact, Apple's system still just says "shipped on 4/23", no further info. (Again, this is all in re: to my own 38mm white, still missing my BF's 42mm SG.)

Ah, thanks! That makes me feel better. Hopefully your boyfriend's watch ships really soon!

My guess is that your order got pushed to ship sooner but still within the originally quoted window of 4-6 weeks or whatever. The system isn't able to identify whether it's sooner or later, since the originally quoted time frame was just a window of time 4-6 weeks, so it sent you both the delay and the "pushed sooner" emails.

Waiting is the hardest part.....

I don't know why I look at these forums, I walk away deflated and pessimistic. I have a long way to go especially since the first 5-7 minutes of preorders haven't been fulfilled.

Ordered : 42mm SG
Confirmation: 06:46:48am EST
Location: Concord, NC
Originally :"June"
Now: 4-6 Weeks (May 29 - June 11)

It did update to 4-6 weeks, but that doesn't mean much. Its better than "June" but still aggravating. It would be great if Apple would address this backlog, not only for us SGers but for anyone who "preordered" this watch. Seems like in the past there was a response from Apple pretty quickly. Hopefully we all see movement sooner than expected.

can we stop using the BSB acronym please? all space grey ship with a black sports band. we know that. all you have to say is 42mm SG or 38 mm SG. adding BSB gives no value at all.

The "dark colored" stainless steel link version is Space BLACK not Space Grey so there's no way the two will get confused.

Wow. Maybe lighten up a little. Who cares what people use to describe it.

Okay I have a small concern:

Yesterday around 8pm I got my tracking number and apple order page changed to Shipped. Apple also sent me an email last night saying "Order Shipped, delivers Tuesday April 28th." However, today my tracking number still shows "order processed, Ready for ups". According to UPS, the order hasn't moved yet. Should I be concerned about receiving my watch tomorrow?

I would not be concerned. I got shipping confirmation on a blue sport on Friday to deliver Tues. and it said the same thing as yours all weekend and then today at 2:09 PM the UPS info finally updated and it has been in Canada since Saturday.

There is definitely something up with the 42mm SG model.. I had ordered 38mm & 42mm SG on the 25th. They moved up the 38mm to May 21-June 4 yet the 42mm has not moved from the June shipment

I do wish Apple would address the issue... But the fact those orders are just sitting in the queue, I'm sure they gonna ramp up production for that particular model..

Space Gray folks, I just wanted to share a couple of impressions after having my SG for a couple of days.

1. The band is very much a magnet for dust and stuff, and as other threads are discussing, is starting to show signs of wear on the inside where the band rubs together.

2. The Watch itself shows a lot of dust and lint especially around the tiny gap between the screen and the aluminum frame.

So the SG has a new home with my friend, and I am keeping the Sliver/White band combo.

These may not be issues for most people, but it bugs me and made me realize that's one of the reasons i switched from to the white iPhone. Just my $.02.

Just about every poll I have ready shows that the 42mm SG was the most popular model... and the polls pretty consistently showed it outsold the 38mm SG 3 to 1. Not an exact science, but I've seen enough to be convinced that it's a pretty safe guess.

All of that to say... it won't be surprising if you get the 38mm before the 42mm, just because the demand was so much higher.

42 mm SG BSB order confirmation xx:09:55 on 4/10
Status - Processing
Estimating May 13-26 delivery.

I thought it used to show May 16 - 28 so that is a but of an update.

So I overslept and placed my order at xx:18. So 18-min past preorder opening bell. Denver, CO. 42mm Space Gray + Black Sport Band = June delivery. Upon ordering, I scheduled a try-on appointment for 11:45am that same morning. After said appointment was complete - and unbeknownst to my wife - at about 1pm, I also ordered her the following: 38mm Silver + White Sport Band = June delivery. To date, I have seen zero changes to either order. Both have been "processing items." Until this weekend.

My wife's 38mm Silver + White Sport Band has since shipped and is scheduled to arrive Tuesday!

Not that it hasn't now been suggested a gazillion times, but this is more evidence that the sport gray appears to have seen both the most interest from customers and been the most challenging to produce in acceptable-to-ship quantities. While ever so slightly bummed my wife's will arrive (allegedly) several weeks ahead on mine, I'm honestly glad to see some ****** traction. Plus I think she'll get a kick out of - for once - being the cutting edge in our household.

Hope this helps some make a little more sense of their situation.

I ordered a 42mm SG BSB at xx:18 also but I have a ship date range of 5/13- 5/27...I realize that email confirmation doesn't appear to be the only determining factor but I can't imagine yours being that far behind me...lol the way it's going, you'll probably receive yours first, which would be fine with me too #

I'm betting that the majority of people who set their alarms to order are in the :03s, :04s, and :05s. So, I'd think that once most of the :05s are handled, the numbers trail off considerably after that point.

I'm a :17 (because the apple store app wouldn't work properly on my phone, and a I had to start over completely on my computer) - but I'm (optimistically) thinking that there were fewer orders between :06 and :17 than there were between :02 and :05.

agreed. once the xx:05's are all shipped, i think the xx:06-->xx:20's will ship with the quickness.

I'm xx:15.

Right. THATS IT!!!!

No ****ing charge.

No ****ing status change.

No ****ing watch.

I've just been into the Apple Store and really kicked off at the imbeciles in there. No one was taking me seriously so I started scratching all the ****ing MacBook screens with my ****ing Swiss Army knife.

The ****ers soon took notice and called security.

Luckily I'm a karate blue belt and kicked the guys arse. He will be spending the night in hospital.

Tried to snatch a space grey from someone doing a try on, but was rugby tackled by the other guard.

Eventually had to run off after I knocked the leg from out of under the table and all of the Ipads off the tables onto the floor.

Must've been 8 or 9 iPads completely mullered.

After all that still no ****ing apple watch.

WORST LAUNCH EVER!!!!

Took a pic just before running off. That'll teach the bastards!!

Yeah, but I'm not talking about the window. I'm talking about the time stamp.

From what I've read, people who ordered the SG in the :04s and :05s got that second window. I'll bet that made up half of the orders right there (anything earlier than :03 is seriously Johnny on the Spot).

It's certainly anecodotal... but I haven't seen very many people with time stamps later than :06. Most of us had something go wrong that made it take longer. I would guess that's a minority.

Yes, this has been my running theory as well. A few 6-20 folks are coming out of the woodwork (I'm :20, which is why I stopped there :p), but the initial inundation of orders may have settled somewhere in the :05 or :06 range, judging by the completely random sampling of the average person who contributes here. :D

Yep, I overslept. Still enjoying watching these message boards though.

I ordered my SG 42mm watch this Sunday (26) it says June delivery. WHEN DO YOU GUYS THINK I WILL GET IT? I heard some June people already have theirs for delivery....could mine be shipped this week or the next?

I think it is safe to say this is not the case with the Space Gray. Obviously I do not have any inside information and this is speculation on my part but I am speculating with a certain degree of confidence.

I havent noticed these problems... do you move at all during the day? Do you collect dust on your head during the day too?

My info: 1st 38mm SG ordered at :05:32, second at 06:29. Still processing since I placed the orders, no charges, no change in status. Nothing for either one.

Wasn't this the vehicle smash and grab that happened a while back?
