I have not seen any changes to my 42mm/SG order. "Processing Items". I am hoping it arrives in the beginning of the May 13 - May 27 window I was provided.
4min spent trying to load the website (which was ready with 1-click purchase) then switched to the app and had to update my info for App.

Tracking information for my husband's 42mm SG Sport watch was updated by UPS at 3:29 EDT.
It has departed Louisville, KY and is "on time" for 4/28 delivery.

I'm sure that's true as well. But I'm not basing my opinion purely on who is commenting here.
It still stands to reason that the majority of people who attempted a xx:01 order were able to successfully complete that order within a few minutes.
It doesn't take 15+ minutes to place an online order, so most of the people who set an alarm probably had that order completed in well under 10 minutes.
I'm guessing that most of the people who ordered after the first 5 or 6 minutes either slept in, or had a minor problem of some kind. People like us are almost certainly in the minority.
finally got an email from apple!! header your apple watch order number WXXXXXXX got all excited opened email and it was about my Blue Sport I ordered yesterday with a june shipping date to tell me the estimate went to 2-3 weeks. (which I already knew) got my hopes up...DAMN YOU APPLE!!! 😱
hopefully I will be like some of the other people on here who got emails back to back and got charged soon after!!!

If mine does not charge today...I may try and read as many posts listing theirs shipped with later order times ( than mine ) right before I hit the treadmill...maybe raising my heart rate will at least help me burn more calories lol. 😎

same email I got about my blue sport...you must have had a june window and they changed it to 4-6 weeks
Your theory that the bulk of orders are :06 and prior, and things will move more quickly after makes sense to me.
I'm :05:13 and hope to see some activity in the next day or two.
My confirmation came at xx:12 and I've been in the 4-6 week estimate the entire time.

I had some computer issues and couldn't even get into the store at opening.
I ordered a 42mm SG. I'm in New York. My estimated delivery was just updated today from just June to May 29th to June 11th. I'm hoping its sooner but I have no choice but to wait. I also received the email today saying 4 to 6 weeks.
