It's a little troubling that so many in this thread are still discussing orders in the few minutes after midnight pacific time and haven't got their watches yet. Perhaps there was a "lull" after the initial ordering so I'm not really in line behind 2+ hours of constant ordering, more like 30 minutes of frenzied ordering then a lull and I'm one of the first sleepyheads who got up and ordered the morning of 4/10. Just a theory. I think I've sort of figured out this notation so my order time was 2.5 hours after it started (xx+2:35:18).
You could very well be right. I was scheduled to get my watch in the last half of May and I received it on the 4th business day after the launch.

I wouldn't be surprised if things start moving faster. Tim Cook said during Apple's earnings call that they were ramping up production with the goal of selling to additional countries in the last half of June. I don't think Apple would start selling to a second wave of countries if they were not able to meet the demands of the first wave by then.

...
Of course, we keep hearing that things are moving faster, and that shipping times are conservative (I call BS, Apple) - but I think we're just fooling ourselves. For many of us, this is a dirty 2 month slog to the finish line, end of story. Particularly for the suckers among us (myself included) who ordered a 42mm SG Sport - the Watch of Doom.
Why do you call the space gray the "Watch of Doom"? Because of slow shipping? I don't think it's the slowest — I'm not sure if any of the stainless steel link bracelets have shipped. Pink bands were inexplicably slow as well.

I did order another model along with the 42 SG, though, and while initially they had different delivery dates, on the 27th they were combined into one shipment with expected delivery on May 20-28.

good and bad news... the SS is now "preparing for shipment" while the SG was pushed back to June :(

42mm
CC: charged sometime around after midnight 5/6
Status: Preparing for shipment
Based on what I've seen, should be here tomorrow right?
And what's the process for holding it at my UPS center? Just don't want it sent back. And how early could I pick it up tomorrow?

Sigh. I didn't order until the 21st as I wanted to try it on first and have the generic June delivery. I just had to like one of the most popular models/colors lol!

Glad to see progress slowly but steadily being made and congrats to all those who have received their watch. At this point I think it's a long shot to get the watch by Father's Day. Certainly not the end of the world.

OMG- That is a bad link. Use http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/UPS This will show all UPS flights. The iPhone link for flight aware is old, and is no longer accurate based on new algorithms and flight schedules, and patterns.

People still using the iPhone flight aware link is driving me crazy up the wall  It's not accurate!!

Why is it not accurate? It's live flight data but filtered to a specific few flight lanes. (Asia Hub to Anchorage and Anchorage to US Hubs).

My birthday was 4/25. I originally envisioned myself celebrating with a watch on my wrist. Now, like you, I wonder if Father's Day is a bit optimistic.

Yeah, that's why we were all confused when you were originally given an early date for your SG. Kinda sucks that Apple gave you false hopes for YOUR watch but good news for your wife or GF.

Have you or anybody else got a UK version of this link please, I want to track my watch coming to the UK, if I can :)

Perhaps this explains why Apple can't better pinpoint my generic June date (ordered 4/12). Uncertainty about how many more units they will produce could certainly account for why they can't solve a simple math problem (current orders vs. watches produced/shipped daily = delivery date)

I'm with you there. The wait would be far less stressful if Apple would just give people a more accurate estimated time of arrival.

Exactly. I hate to admit my obsessiveness about this whole procedure but wouldn't it be nice to know your watch was scheduled for delivery on June 9th and you don't have to check your status or this forum 10 times a day?

I am, however, trying to make some good use of the waiting period by reading articles and watching vids regarding tips and secrets about how to best use my watch when it finally ends up on my wrist. And I've taken someone's great advice from this thread and ordered a nice third party watch band; canceling a more expensive Milanese band I had ordered from Apple.

I'm over this watch thing. The charge for the full amount that I had on 5/1 dropped off this morning. At this point, I don't care when the watch comes, as long as it gets here.
