When was your original shipment window for the SGS and when did you receive your confirmation email?

On the 24th when I ordered I got "June" shipping
On the 27th they changed it to May 20-28 delivery
On May 6th they kicked it back to "June" shipping

finally!!

I'm in the May 21st - 4th group and ordered my 38" at 3:32 am CST on the 10th and just got the Preparing for Shipment change!! How long has it been taking from when it changes to "preparing" to "actually shipped"? When do you think that I'll actually get it!?

Anyone have an idea as to what time the May 29-June 11 windows starts. I ordered at around 3:38 eastern and I'm seeing people order around 7 am in the morning in the same window. Thinking once we get to that time we'll be out of that moving at minute pace.

3rd thread I updated. Just thought I'd share in case someone else was close to my time.

Ordered a 42mm SG on the 21st. We're in for a long wait to be honest. I'm hoping to get it by the end of June. Guy at an apple store tried telling me that's a conservative window and that may be on most models but the SG, 42mm especially, seems to be a hot item and apple is struggling to fulfill even early orders in a timely manner.

I'm still checking my order several times daily hoping for an update to a specific date range rather than "June"

I stopped on the several times a day and now just do it every couple of days. I did see where one person that ordered the same day, the 21st, had been given a date range that included May but then it was changed back to just June.

I knew about the June shipping window when I ordered though but with all the comments from Apple about an exaggerated shipping date I was, and to a certain extent still am, hoping that it would ship at the beginning of June or even late May. This model is just so popular though that mid to late June may be the best they can do. So be it :)

This wait is absurd. Why didn't they just push the launch to June? People shouldn't have to wait 6 weeks for something they preordered within 30 minutes of the store opening.

This doesn't make any sense. You're going to get the watch before June if you ordered within the first 30 minutes. Why would you want to wait longer "just 'cause"?

I ordered at 11:10 a.m. and have this same window. My guess is that they feel things will be moving at a fairly good clip by this time. Only time will tell.

Having this limited of supply is annoying. I guess I'm being "punished" for waiting a day to pre order so I could actually see the product in person before ordering. Now I have to wait 6-8 weeks to get something I preordered. That seems wrong to me.

well it seems people have had their order pushed back. i guess to where my bf's order is now? he ordered on the 24th the SG 42mm sports watch. and it just says june delivery still. le sigh.
if ya'll are waiting this long, he prolly wont be getting it until late june/early july.

Well just to give some perspective...I have the same delivery window (May 29-June 11) and I ordered at xx:18. I believe I am in the early part of that delivery wave but it may give you an idea how large that phase is.:(

Put it this way...I ordered on the 12th and my shipping date still generically says June. Unless it magically starts raining 42mm SGs from the sky, he (like me and some other unfortunate saps) will be watching and waiting for a long while.

I'm in sort of the same boat as you; I was on the fence about whether to get a 38 or 42 so I ordered a 38 at xx:04 on 4/10. Then when I went to the Apple Store on the 12th, I tried on both and decided the 38 was too small. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have ordered both at xx:04 and sent the 38 back but I didn't want to mess with returning a watch. Stupid me...

I really don't understand these statements. The translation I read is "I don't have a watch yet so no one should have a watch yet."

I found out it was preparing for shipment early yesterday morning (24 hours before you), received shipping notification email at 2:09 Central time yesterday, and UPS is now saying it's scheduled for delivery today. My location is Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Based on that you should have it Friday but I suppose it depends on your location and if there is severe weather in your area. Also, I wasn't able to see the tracking info until this morning (24 hours after Apple had it ready for UPS).

My confirmation came in at xx:18:17 and I'm May 13–May 27. You must be one of the first in the later delivery window.

I respectfully disagree with your assessment of what the poster has written. Like a large percentage of the ranting going on in here, I think he, like a lot of us, are just trying to attempt to vent some frustration regarding a major market research breakdown in Apple's consumer logistics department. Who, among us, ever dreamed it would take 30 days to get a watch that was ordered within 30 minutes of the online store opening? I ordered 2 days after and will likely wait 60 days for mine! The teaser ads Apple ran prior to launch should have said, "Some models available April 24".

Well that's unfortunate! My actual time is xx:18:32...a few seconds makes a big difference (as most of us have realized). Actually, when I was placing the order, it had an earlier delivery window of May 13-May 27 but when the confirmation email was delivered it said "June".

If I had only pressed that button sooner!:(

And you are entitled to disagree.

But if Apple is fulfilling orders in the order they were received and are meeting the delivery dates they promised when you placed your order what exactly is there to complain about? That the Watch was a mammoth success in terms of sales? Maybe more so than even Apple expected.

I check my order at least 10 times a day but to no avail. I ordered mine on the 4/10 xx:07 and have had no movement at all. I sure hope it breaks loose soon. I'm going crazy over here!!!!!!
