Credit card was charged this morning and status changed to " Preparing for Shipment"
It hasn't shipped yet. Hoping it does soon.

Can anyone give me the process for having it held at the store? I have UPS mychoice. I just won't be home tomorrow so I would like to pick it up at the store. Also, what's the usual time frame during the day you can pick it up?

When you get your tracking info, you can click [ Change Delivery >> ]. I think you can pick it up anytime during office hours (it was 8:30am–8:45pm at my local hub).

42 mm SGS

Ordered 42 mm SGS on 4/10 at 8am PST. Originally June shipping date. Last week moved to 4-6 Weeks Delivers: May 29-June 11. Stuck in processing purgatory.

OK Now I am Confused

I just got through chatting with someone at Apple. They sent me these messages:
"The time stamped in our system will not be the same time of your order confirmation email.

The time that we have in our system is showing when your order processed in the system.

The time that you placed the is different from the time of the order confirmation email received.

Did you need a copy of the order confirmation email? Is there any other information about your order that I can help you with?"

I received a confirmation email of my order at 12:11 PST. Apple told me that my order was processed by them at 11:48AM PST. Are the shipment times based on the time of the email confirmation or the time that "Apple" processed the order?

I thought what you just said and asked the Apple Employee the same question. I believe the employee did in fact not understand at all which is just adding to all the confusion. This is absurd.

When mail gets routed through the internet, each mail server puts its timestamp on the email. That's the timestamp everyone quotes, because it's the only time we have access to. But Apple doesn't even have access to this number. Only Apple would have access to the sequence numbers in their order database.

That's why no one should go crazy if they see that some other member who has a later order confirmation time get theirs shipped earlier. We don't really know who actually ordered their watch first based on the order confirmation email times — they can only give a rough estimate where anyone is in the queue.
