Called apple earlier to moan a bit and see if I could glean any information at all.

Basically was apologised to and told that it would be delivered by May 8th.

I asked if there was a problem with my order as my "friend" had ordered after me and had a delivery today.

They said no and that Apple were committed to first come, first served.

Grrrrrrrr!

Space Grey Apple Watch UK

I see some of the Yanks are getting charged for 42mm space grey today. Like a few mins ago. Anyone in the UK who's wasn't delivered today get charged yet?

Not yet, I'm trying to find out when the next shipment is due in the uk, heard on twitter theres a flight incoming to stanstead landing at 6pm via fedex which could possibly be carrying watches

I'm interested in the general logistics of it all. How many planes per week into the UK etc. how long before a plane is full etc. all very interesting stuff.

The flight I heard could be carrying some is FDX2 , or fedex 2, you can track this via the fedex website

Does Apple update status on orders over the weekend?

Is it possible for my card to be charged and watch to prepare for dispatch on Sat or Sun?

Earliest delivery will be Tuesday then and I bet that doesn't happen. :(

Im wondering if the deliveries we're seeing are location based rather than by when the order was placed. Frustrating me that orders placed after mine have been delivered before mine. I'm based near Bristol. Has anyone near Bristol had a SG 42 delivered?

Ordered a 38mm SG Sport at 8:04, still processing, no payment taken. Anyone ordered this model at a similar time and have any other order status?

Think I must be one of only 10 people in the UK who got a Space Grey 42mm on delivery day!

And boy is she a beauty!

Ordered a 38mm Space Grey Sport at 08:03am. It's still processing, no charge to card, got the EOD on Wednesday night. Every day that passes from now on the more annoyed I'm going to get. #

Apple's poor communication on this has be simply unacceptable, I think for a company that prides themselves in good customer service should be able to be completely transparent about the status of our orders. If something has gone wrong, just tell us.

Rant over.

Heard a rumour around another forum they are struggling with the bands as they are all peeling which is why they are processing still regardless of when you ordered the watch

So I ordered my watch at 8:02am through the Apple Store app and I still don't have an update on my order...

I'm assured by Apple that they're doing it in order but I must be one of the first!

Has anyone else who ordered this had anything?

I've gone for the 42mm one

08:03 here, still processing for my 42mm Space Grey. The 42mm White watch I purchased for my dad many minutes later with a delivery date of mid May arrived today :p

Not sure if this means anything, but the £1 apple had taken off my card has just been refunded...

So glad I got my 38mm today too. It's on my wrist, works and seems like it's meant to be! (Maybe it's the wine)

I say forum - Ive been told by "someone" put it that way and I would believe them given their role.

A) You can't expect us to believe you.

B) My friend ordered a Apple Watch Sport last week (blue band) and it's already preparing for shipment. Lucky bugger I know, and yes, I don't expect you to believe me either.
