That's the combo I ordered, it looks good, loop and grey! One of the nicest things about this watch is that you can customize the bands to the look you want to have. So while some may hate the ends being silver when on a space grey watch I don't personally have an issue and think it looks perfectly fine. It's all about individuality and I for one am ready to put this combo to use on a daily basis!

I think the problem with any other band other than the Sport Band or Leather Loop with the Sport line is that the part that connects to the Apple Watch is made of stainless steel, so it's supposed to blend with the look of the stainless steel watch. Otherwise, it's looks odd having the stainless steel next to the aluminum.
I ordered a black sport with a blue leather loop after seeing this picture online.Image

That looks BOSS! Great choice!

To each his own but this is the reason I went with the silver sport over the space grey sport. I plan on getting some 3rd party blue/brown leather straps and I didn't think the sports grey would go as well with them as the silver sport. Ideally I would've went with the SS but I couldn't justify $200 more on a 1st gen device.

Well, I like the Space Grey and I love the milanese. Most comfortable band of all the Apple bands.

It is the combo I will be rockin on my wrist.

No, all the bands are interchangeable. You just can't order the Sport with anything other than the "flubber" band.

I agree 100% and we've seen plenty of proof that that any band will physically work with the Sport.

But at my try on session at the Apple Store today (Cumberland - Atlanta), the employee who helped us insisted that you can only use the sport band with the sport watch.

I knew he was wrong but it wasn't worth trying to correct him. Later, my fiancée had no problem assuming that I was right and he was wrong. :)

The more I see pictures of the Milanese Loop the more I want it. I'm sure by the time my watch gets here I'll be picking up a Milanese Loop band. Hopefully it looks nice with the Space Grey Sport.

The Milanese Loop looks even better in person. Don't know how it would look with the Space Grey watch, though. Might be cool...

Did you post a review of your try on session? I know someone did post earlier that the sales rep said the aluminum and SS shouldn't be mixed because of metal interaction. If it wasn't you who posted, then at least 2 reps are saying not to mix them.

Was able to try it on in store. Will be purchasing a Milanese band now, was very impressed by the looks and even more so the quality of the band

Space Grey Sport w/ Other bands

Is the leather loop the only real option?

Anyone have good pictures of this watch with other bands? I have been looking everywhere but can only find the leather loop. Curious about the milanese loop and leather buckle specifically.

Cheers,

Anything with a stainless steel clasp will (IMO) clash with the brushed space grey. I was impressed with how good it looks with the leather loop though, yet to see what it looks like with the other coloured sports bands.

I was underwhelmed with the look of the Milanese. I ordered the SG sport with the basic black bracelet but will likely get a leather loop in Blackmon the road. I really like the adjustability of the leather loop.

Would the blue leather loop work with it or just the black?

yes it looks very good (pic below).

This has all I can find online, the leather buckle is there but IMO might be a bad render as the stainless clasps look darker then they should be.

I tried on the space grey sport model with the Milanese loop. Here are two pics

Awesome, thanks!
Not sure how I feel about it. What is your opinion? Seeing them IRL, would the stainless sections of the leather buckle clash with the space grey as well?

I personally like how it looks. Plus, the Milanese loop feels so good and extremely well made. As far as the leather buckle, I don't think it would clash too much with it.

I'm also interested in any other real life pictures of people who were able to swap the bands on the space grey. My Apple Store did not allow swapping of bands...and actually I was told that none of the non-sport bands would fit the sport watch lol. I argued with the guy and he told me that they designed the connectors differently haha. Oh Apple not so genius....

Actually the girl I spoke to today said the first thing they did when they got the Watches in yesterday/today and they did work. Found it interesting they actually tried it.

I didn't ask to swap bands because she was already nice enough to let me and my friend try on a couple Watches, and I wasn't gonna push it. I got to try the model I wanted and was happy. I figure in a few months I'll buy the Milanese loop and see how I like it with the Space Gray case. If I don't I'll just exchange it for a Leather loop in Midnight blue or Black.

Space grey sport with other coloured sport bands?

Been looking far and wide but have yet to see any real life pictures of the apple apple watch space grey with the other coloured sport bands attached to it.

Would love to see the contrast of blue against the black or green against the black but especially a real life picture of the pink against the black/grey watch.

I think the contrast would look amazing. White strap on the grey watch would be pretty cool too.

I have seen plenty of renders but I don't think they are accurate and some real life pics would be much appreciated.

Also do you guys think that once the watch is released we will be able to take our watches to the Apple Store and try bands on them before purchasing instore?
