I was being serious. What else can you suggest if the person doesn't want the logo to be seen because he/she doesn't want to be a "logo flasher?" The person requested some suggestions on how to cover the Apple logo so it can't be seen. The most logical solutions would be a piece of paper over the logo or forgetting about the logo's existence. Or you can just leave the phone laying down with the screen facing up or leave it in your pocket.

On a related note, Spigen could easily provide a solution to those who don't want a rear logo hole by selling a solid backplate.

Another thought I had: put a rear protective film or sticker over the Apple logo.

If the logo is something one cannot live with ( Those that are not LOGO FLASHERS :) ) then the tough armor is clearly not the case for them. The Slim armor S comes pretty close...It should provide a decent level of protection, with a slim profile and a good finish.

Put it into another post in case anyone is looking for a belt clip. The Mophie iPhone 4 belt clip fits this case nicely.

I have this case now on my iPhone 5S but my touch ID button isn't working,

I did everything correct in fitting the case and the Spigen jelly button onto the home button

I'm kidding :p

Does anyone have any comparisons to the Tough Armor and Slim Armor S as far as size and thickness goes?

I'm using this from amazon http://www.amazon.com/Clear-Front-S...KFE4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1380464245&sr=8-1 since the price was right
The back film which came in 3 parts (top camera area, middle and bottom) which is what I wanted so that I can cover just the middle logo area
The iPhone 5G(5pack)

I saw that Spigen sells its own "Ultra Crystal Mix" set that includes a back protector film.

Does anyone know if this product is compatible with the Tough Armor? While I don't like the logo cutout (don't want dust/debris scratches), if the Tough Armor can accommodate a back film I would be ok with it.

I know this is about a different case, but I just purchased another case by the same manufacturer (Spigen SGP10360 Neo Hybrid Case) off of amazon for my Space Gray 5S and I love it. It is surprisingly thin, and offers great protection. I have attached pictures for anyone interested. You can select several different colors for the band around the TPU case.

I bought both to try them out and ended up keeping the Tough Armor. The Tough Armor is a little thicker, but not by much. The Tough Armor feels a little more solid in the hand, however the Slim Armor S is also quite good. I prefer the buttons from the Slim Armor S and if they were on the Tough Armor it'd be a perfect case. The power button on the Tough Armor isn't as responsive as the one on the Slim Armor S. The Tough Armor protects the edges of the phone much better from what I can tell. The TPU case of the Slim Armor S isn't secured at the top and bottom (nor is the Tough Armor) and sometimes I can see the edges of the phone which makes me wonder how it would hold up if it landed on an edge.

Edit- Here's a comparison album: http://imgur.com/a/ZoED6

Has anyone noticed how loose the Slim Armor fits? The case would probably fall off if it landed just right. I like it less every time I use it.

I can't see the edge of my 5S at all with my Slim Armor S case. And no idea how it cannot be secured at the top and bottom of your phone, as mine seems practically airtight. Sounds like you need to either get your case refunded/exchanged or order yourself a new one.

I feel pretty confident that the Slim Armor S will cause the 5S to withstand a fall. It has a big enough lip in the front to protect the front glass and the TPU edging seems great for shock-absorption. Wish it would show my Apple logo on the back, but hey, I'd rather have great protection.

For minimalism & shock-absoption, I believe the Slim Armor S to be a superior case for most people. Anyone with higher protection needs should be well served by the Tough Armor case.

someone else mentioned there are no issues with using this case and any sort of protective film - front, back, sides - anything should be fine. if mine ever shows up i'll let you know. 2 weeks since ordering and no delivery. i ordered the tough armor case along with front and back films and i also have a sticker boy piece for the side and chamfers.

I was actually looking for some material that's like a screen protector but opaque.

I'm sorry I offended you to the point of inciting sarcasm because you can't understand the concept of not wanting to be a walking billboard with everything I wear, use, or carry.

There is no reason for the hole in the back of the Tough Armour other than to allow the Apple logo to show to appeal to people who derive pleasure from showing off the brand names of their products. That's fine for some people, but not for me.

Come on people "logo flashers". Geez
Any idiot young and old can look at your phone from 20-30 feet away at any angle and know you have an iPhone regardless of what case you are rocking.

Geez. :apple::p

Just ordered the Tough Armor bundle with Glast Slim and Ultra Crystal

Awesome deal, can't wait for it to get here

Anyone have problems with the Slim armor? I bought one and the edges where so sharp it cut my hand a little I got a replacement but still the same. Does this case do that too? And is the mute switch easily accessible.

I saw that someone earlier in this thread said that the edges on the Tough Armor were a bit sharp.

Can anyone else comment on how comfortable the case is to hold?

The edges aren't rounded but they aren't sharp either. The don't poke you or anything.

The Tough Armor for the 5c has no hole. Interesting, I hope they release some back plates for the 5/5s without the hole.

Seems silly that the 5C case offers more protection than the 5S case. I wonder what the reason is for this design choice.

Sounds good.
