I'm glad everyone likes the Keynote Checker. :) I'm always glad to help and contribute to the community.

Once the stream is up the script will post all the links it can find, but not all links are initially available. Usually, the normal streams come up first, then the podcast video, then the HD stream.

Based on the last 3 WWDC keynotes, the stream will be up 6 PM EST at the earliest and 8:30 at the latest. Here are the exact times:

WWDC 2009: 8:00 PM EST
WWDC 2008: 6:15 PM EST
WWDC 2007: 8:30 PM EST

The keynote just ended, it was almost 2 hours long. I'm still spoiler-free :D

BAHH! I'm getting txts from friends left and right.....And its killing me not to look at them!
Its just reflex to look at unread txts!

Step away... from the phone!

Your Televisions and Phones are no longer safe!

I made the mistake of going to my twitter home page and saw all but about 3 posts on it were from @macrumorslive

BAH

I mean does anyone else remember when they used to live stream their keynotes? That made it so much easier to deal with this waiting crap.

Let me join the chorus in praise of VOIDNESS! You rule. Not only do you have the webpage checker, you have the precedents at hand to gauge our wait times.

Bravo bravo.

And all you developers out there need to get to work on that spoiler plugin for your browser!

Argh cmon videos!

The problem with waiting is that the discussions about eventual new products are always 40 pages long - that is a lot of reading.

Ya why don't they do that anymore?
They have the technology to do it.....

first time I have been spoiler free! I am in Europe, so I may not even get to see it today. ARGH. I hope its worth it. Its so hard not to look up any information!!

I accidentally went to macrumors.com cause I do that throughout the day all the time. ALMOST saw something..

I hate that I have to leave safe areas today. Sitting in a lecture trying not to listen to conversations around me. As soon as the prof stops talking I'm putting my headphones in.

I'm paranoid someone is going to walk up to me and hold up a sign or something. (Being a Harry Potter fan has made me so overcautious)

Totally know what you mean... I had some ass come up to me, stop, stare for a second, then blurted out "Snape kills Dumbledore!!!"

Oh and on a side note I was able to get on the new Harry Potter ride at Universal during a soft open and in the spirit of Spoiler-Free all I will say is that I expected a well put together ride with book references but what the Universal Creative team created was absolutely ridiculously amazing. And they did a much better job than Apple at keeping their prototype under wraps. (Too soon?)

It should be out before midnight.;)

Midnight in the US! lol.

and I just realized I cannot use facebook until the keynote comes out. Friends have updated their statuses... Argh. Thats always how I waste my time! I guess Ill be on here a lot tonight...

Also afraid to check my e-mail, or iGoogle page. I have subscriptions to many tec sites that could send me an update, and I have an CNET ticker on my iGoogle... AHH!

Patience, friends. If I'm remembering correctly, they quickest they have posted the videos was 2-3 hours after the end, and it has been as long as 6-8 hours after.

It's definitely a little frustrating considering that Apple is 100% capable of getting this out sooner or broadcasting it live. (plus, I'm sure some news network would love the rights to live broadcast the event.)

Ah...... that would be sweet. Live in HD.
Actually, streaming to the Apple TV, live, in HD... now that would increase market share just because of live keynotes:p.

Wow, I'm sorry someone ruined that for you! I would have been furious. I locked myself up and had the books delivered to my house. And that's great to hear I can't wait to check out the park.

I accidentally went to Macrumors.com, and saw a little spoiler, but it was someone were were pretty sure was gonna happen, so It wasn't much of a spoiler. I don't know why I always go spoiler free, considering I never really buy anything that is released. :) It's still fun to be surprised!

ROFL Thats right

Thinking about it, a 2h keynote will take them a pretty long time to cut together... So I am guessing 8:30 or even 9 EST

rly? u mean like europe-midnight? =D
thatd be good news, i wouldnt have to stay awake whole night long and sleep in school tomorrow xD

As in Midnight GMT+1 ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if Steve-o has to watch the entire thing 'till the end after they finish cutting it :D

I am really planning on buying the iPhone 4G/HD so here is great excitement, especially about the release date and the price.

P.S: To all the trolls: Don't correct me on the name if its wrong...

I'd guess that they cut it in realtime.
But if they don't, then there must be a guy sitting in an editing room cutting right now! I bet his name is George.

I don't think that. They surely have tons of cameras out there because a Keynote is a very important marketing movie for them. So maybe there is some live footage for some people at WWDC but the clip that goes out to the internet will be heavily edited by some advertising professionals...

just my 2 cents

The wait is always the hardest part.. think of all the sites, teeming with fresh footage, pictures, and descriptions of all the juiciest news from WWDC
