Tried placing order online but it was wanting a $300.00 down payment which I’ve never had to pay before.
Called in and actually got a rep in Overland Park, KS surprisingly immediately who was able to place the order for me with no down payment. Not sure why every year I have to call in but not a big deal!

Worked great for me!! Logged in at 5:00am and got a 256GB Gold iPhone XS for delivery on the 21st.
EDIT: Also scored a 44mm space grey LTE Apple Watch. Pretty excited to get it now!!

When I looked online, they didn’t have any deals for X, or 8/8+.
I’ll have to call my local store, I was hoping to get a better deal on X instead of the XS. My local store has a 2 Line plan for $70, it’s same at the Unlimited Basic except doesn’t include hotspot or Hulu.
Total pain with Sprint this year with the ordering process, has to be done with a phone call due to the fact that I want the iphone shipped to my work which doesn't match the billing address. 2 1/2 hours total time with weak english speaking but very patient lady. That includes waiting for 2 callbacks when the system went down. Of course skipping all the sales pitches would have saved 30 minutes. I've had the iphone forever/flex lease since the 6 came out and have upgraded on pre-order day every year since then. Even though the website states that a shipping address other than your billing address is not allowed only for NEW customers less than 90 days the website and the app have never allowed the shipping address change and I have to call in the order. I was hoping for an easier order this year but that didn't happen. You'd think after upgrading the same way with the same addresses for now being on sprint for 10 years they would have the information straight but I guess not.... Anyway the Xs has been ordered... We will see if the XS gold is delivered on the 21st

I just woke up and finish my order through the app. So far this was my best experience with Sprint.

I pray this doesn’t happen to me. It allowed me to change the shipping address with out a problem.
Even with me doing the save my place in line when it went live, my estimated ship date is 10/8-10/15. Apparently more people wanted the 512 Max more than the 256. Kinda upset about that ship date. Hopefully i actually get it on launch date.
Everything went smoothly for me. Got the 64gb max and a 40mm space gray Apple Watch. Both for delivery on Friday the 21st
Im seeing a $300 credit bringing the monthly device cost to $29.17. I assume this requires a trade in but the details don’t mention trading in a device and just says its an upgrade promo for being a sprint customer. No way this is correct right?
Had to cancel my order because it has the wrong address, cancelled earlier this morning and now waiting on my upgrade eligibility to reset. As of right now it looks like I’ll still bet the phone on launch day.

Well I reserved my iPhone X’s /MAX 256 GB yesterday afternoon. I had a paid off X 256 that I traded in.
So for about $5 a month I picked up that nice upgrade.
I was going to pass on this year’s phone BUT since it has the proper telephony for the Sprint network.
I am concerned about losing the great Qualcomm modem and going with the Intel modem as well as the lesser signal strength of the Max.
Well life is a mixed bag!

Decided to upgrade via sprint again this year after that awful 8 generation situation.
I resvered my spot in line last night for an Xs Max silver 64g and ordered about 9am EST this morning and have a delivery date for 9/21!

Well I was going to get the 512gb max, but was already back ordered to October. Even though I did the get in line thing ahead of time. Cancelled that order and went for the 256gb since that was still showing 9/21 delivery. I really don’t need 512GB anyway.
If you go to Support > Order status > & Type in your Order # Under the Device you chose it should say an a delivery date

Thanks! I'm in for 9/21 as well. I decided to go with the XS a little late, but my order at 8 a.m. CT still got me in for release date. I feel lucky.
Ordering process went smooth for me via app at 0430 EDT. Paid $10 for overnight shipping for Xs Max Grey 256GB. Scheduled to arrive Sept. 21.

smoothest year yet. I didn't have to pay for shipping or anything, it said free overnight. just 5 bucks more a month and a 30 dollar upgrade fee. couldn't get through in at 3, so i went to sleep.
