Is anyone else having to pay a $30 upgrade fee?
Telesales CSR’s press customers for 10 “express shipping” (although everyone getting the device on launch day has same shipping priority/services) and online /chat support press for 30 upgrade fee.
You can usually get either refunded after the fact if you go up the CSR heirachy, especially if you’ve had an account for a number of years.

I probably will. The last 3 launches I know I for sure have not had to pay an upgrade fee or a shipping fee, except for last year when I only paid the shipping fee.

Well I was in the same boat with 2 more payments. But one was a regular payment which I sent a day early last night. Then I called and got them to pay one more payment early just now. So I’ve now got 12 payments in. But they where saying I still won’t be eligible till the 1st. They claim the agreement says I keep the phone for 12 months. It doesn’t. It says 12 payments. But I’m going to wait till my payments show as being done probably tomorrow before I call again tomorrow probably.
I was nowhere near paying off my phone when I upgraded. It just asks for the remaining payments when you uograde and you select a trade in kit.

I’m upgrading 3 iPhone X to 2 XS and 1 XS Max all 64gb and gold and the estimated date is 9/21. I went through telesales because 1 of the phones said I had to return the device and pay $83. Telesales reset the upgrade eligibility date and I was able to order the 3 today, without paying anything other than shipping and taxes $10.89 total. Had to e-sign the 3 leases and I have to pay $30 upgrade fee x3, but I’m calling sprint when I see it on my bill and bitch about being a 19yr customer. Hoping for a smooth upgrade year. Will keep you guys updated.

I've got one payment left on my flex-lease for my 7 Plus. Want to do the upgrade for the Xs 64gb that's $0 a month so I can cut my bill down. Are there any hidden cost associated with it? What do I have to do to take advantage of it? I have to pay the $196 buyout to trade it in I believe. Would it be better to just buy it out, sell it on craigslist and then pay for the upgrade full fee? I'm not sure whats the best option.

Just put in my order for Xs Max 256 SG on the MySprint app and got a delivery of the 21st. I really wasn't planning to upgrade from my X but why not.

Yeah, my experience with Sprint pre-orders for years has been to not sweat what date you get. I’ve gotten everything from launch day to weeks after and I’ve always received my phones on launch.

Anyone know if the XS will support VOLTE? I know they’ve been testing it but any ideas???

Just got an email that my iPhone XS Max 64gb Silver is on its way. Tracking isn’t working yet. This time getting the new phone has gone so much smoother.

Yes it will....now the real question is when will Sprint turn in on....it has been delayed again....and the worse news is LTE band 41 performance on the Xs Max is poor, sadly...

Has this been confirmed in real world testing?
