Ended up ordering through sprint as their promotion was better. Will cancel order through Apple. Paid off my Iphone X to get the promotion and will trade it in to get the $29 credit each month towards my bill. Didn't place my order with Sprint until around 8:50 am est. Still showed the 9/20 date for the Pro Max Space Gray 64GB. So we will see.
Completed order through telesales at about 10am EST. The app was hardly working and wouldn’t let me push through because it said I had a balance on my bill but I had paid that yesterday.

Successfully ordered a 256gb Space Gray iPhone 11 Pro from Sprints app via the Priority Status. Coming from an iPhone X! No trade in deal for me but I’m excited regardless.
Just got a delivery status email from Sprint. Estimated to ship 9/19.
Now says that my 256GB Midnight Green Pro Max has an estimated delivery date (not just ship date) of release day! Now I’m just hoping that my regular Pro comes earlier than anticipatedI ordered the green 256gb Pro Oct 11 ship date. Not a fan of the large Max size phablets. Suppose this is the popular color and model. But what was the point of the VIP reservation promise of getting it on launch day and sleep in advertising if they can’t fulfill on that promise. I registered for preorder the afternoon it went up of the keynote. Ugh meh oh well
Priority Status doesn’t mean you necessarily get it on launch day. Just that your order will be prioritized as orders are filled. So basically, your order is prioritized above people who just did the regular preorder online... But ultimately, Sprint still has to rely on the supply given by Apple.
Yeah I get that they still have to rely on Apple’s supply an all. Shipping dates are subject to change too once everything settles down as well. But it was advertised that as long as you completed the order by Sunday, you’re pretty much getting a launch phone based on when you registered. So sleep in and don’t worry about it.
When all is said and done I don’t really care about a week or two delay it’s just a phone after all. Funny enough my clear case just arrived from the Apple Store. Wasn’t expecting that to ship a week early.

Anyone have any success of getting them to waive their $30 "upgrade fee?" Granted, I've only been a customer for about 18 months (ported in from VZW for their one year of free service when you BYOD), but unfortunately my employer contract/discount doesn't waive the fee.

I talked to someone this afternoon who said to call it once it shows up on the bill and they’ll waive it.
Yes, I've always ordered live and had it waived on the spot.
I'll just call when I activate and do the same....
And why do you tell them it should be waived? Just because you don't think you should have to pay it?

I got one that said preorder OR backorder and it had an expected ship date of 9/19
I got the preorder a back ordered item email as well.
I received the same last year and my iPhone box cut open (iPhone taken) and resealed was delivered on launch day.
Mine bumped me back to the 2nd wave. No big deal but it’s just kind of lame. My fault for relying on sprint.
Not your fault they advertised it as preregistration of the preorder was taking priority based when you preregistered. But in reality it meant it just prefilled the form so you can check out quicker.
