Funny enough, mine was delivered Friday. Seems alright, Apple’s new packaging is weird. No more cardboard and some plastic bubble showing the case. I posted a pic of it in this thread.
 
dang mine still says pending. I ordered about an hour into the preorder, but I assume my model will ship out soon since I got a gold 256 pro max, which is one of the less popular color/size configs

I did it!!

Kept my gold 64gb pro max with sprint, and cancelled the 64gb green!

Ordered the green 64gb pro max through best buy about an hour ago, still says delivery Friday, 9/20!!!!

Be careful with best buy. I used to work there and iphone preorders are a disaster! It may be different if you chose shipping instead of in store pickup.

When I worked there, we would get like 10 devices in before release day. In fact, we would only get a 512GB model and 256GB model in only if it was preorder.

I would never choose instore pickup when it comes to preordering phones from best buy. Best Buy's motto when it comes to preorders is to tell the customer if they preorder...they're guaranteed a phone, however when they get the phone is not guaranteed.

Yeah I never do in store pick ups, the lines and all the people trying to pick up their phones would put my anxiety on over drive! I chose shipping, I will get the phone when I get it!

You should be good with shipping.

I've never known people to have too many issues if any, with shipping....as compared to in store pickups.

Ya, i definitely chose the shipping option!
 
My husband space grey 64gb pro Max shipped my 256gb silver pro max still pending but has expected delivery date of 9/19. Looks like they are shipping in order of storage. This is the first year I didn’t go with newest color learned my lesson from the jet black 7+.

Got my Priorty Status and placed my order today. I ok with getting the device Friday.
