SPRINT iPhone 5 PRE-ORDER thread!!

People that have 3 lb packages, are you new customers? I have 3lbs to so I think it's some kind of new customer kit. Booklets and paperwork I guess.
 
For those of you who have received your tracking info, did you order AppleCare + with your phone.

I did and it says under the AppleCare that it's back ordered. I talked to a Sprint Rep a few days ago and they said it was normal, but since I have yet to receive my tracking info, I wonder if that's not the case.

I ordered AppleCare+ and got my tracking number. Mine said backorder also until I got my tracking number.
 
Did anyone else get this message in UPS? This just recently updated on UPS for me in the last 30 mins.

I ordered on 9/14 at 2am PST, I had noooo idea that I was originally scheduled for Monday delivery. I don't know why but this new development has made me uneasy.

Glad I'm not the only one. This makes sense though. It says 2nd Day Air, but I heard someone say Sprint makes a deal with UPS for cheaper shipping rates.
 
1030 pm my iphone 5 16gb black has departed jamaica queens and in most likely on its way to long island and then to my mailbox. Cant wait i am pumped.

Yes, mine says it was originally scheduled for Monday too. Keep in mind we all have 2-day air. Im willing to bet since I used to be a sales and marketing guy that Sprint has a special 'bulk' deal with UPS and probably paid for 2-day air rates but is getting overnight service instead. Its likely the system can only show 2-day air and not designed to handle/reflect the circumstance.
