Got the charges removed, but had to tell them to ship me a return kit. They said I "have to use the separate kit" and "cannot use anything that it sent with the new phone to return my old device". I argued this point, and it is probably wrong, but just a heads up to everyone - you may need to request a return kit if they didn't send you one.

I think you also have the option of just taking it to a Corp store to return. That way you get a receipt and know they have it.

I think so as well, but the guy mentioned something about HAVING to use the return envelope he sent me or else they will charge me a "$200 non-return fee"(?). Probably shouldn't have even questioned it and just brought them to a store. Oh well, hopefully it all works out.

Random question those who buy 128GB phones I am seriously asking with no sarcasm and only curiosity---what do you have on your phones that you need that much?

I like not having to worry about space, especially with pictures. I don't trust iCloud, and with Live Photos and 4K video, I can't imagine I'll regret paying just a little more for 128 GB (not to mention, I'm paying the same amount under iPhone Forever that I was leasing a 16 GB with iPhone For Life).

If I decide to keep this phone, I don't want to play the "What apps/pics do I delete and which do I keep" game. 64 GB may have been enough, but I'll pay a little extra for the piece of mind :)

I've got photos and videos from over 20 years synced with my iMac, iPad, and iPhone. I've got hundreds of apps most aren't used that often but for when I need something it's already there (0 games and not mentioning the storage some apps use like iMovie), my RSS reader caches several gigs of media, I have over 20,000 songs (way too much) and I have a lot of videos stored locally for times when cell service isn't good and that includes itunesU videos and WWDC videos.

Most people use their iPads as a consumable whereas I use mine for creation and consumption.

Edit: sorry for double post, for some reason it was showing replies after mine until I reloaded. May be AdBlocker related.

Me and it seems quite a few others are waiting on the Space Grey 128 with no information on them yet.

I called earlier and spoke to the order department and they gave me the generic "were doing our best to make sure you have it by the 25th" spill, I imagine a tracking number will be updated sometime soon for the 128gb 6s+ people who haven't received any detail yet. The only tracking number i've gotten so far is for the rose gold 128gb 6s+ I ordered but nothing for the gold 128gb 6s+

And you've never thought about weeding out stuff in order to save yourself some $$? It just seems wild to me a 128GB phone when my xbox 1 has 250GB lolll so 2 128GB iphones have more storage than my Xbox One; it just blows my mind thats all. I Appreciate your response tho!! I'm sure you feel like you couldn't live without the 128GB, i just upgraded to 64GB i rode the 16GB train for 3 generations so you understand my perplexity with a 128GB device. But hey the more stuff the more the device is being used the happier we are

Hey guys. I'm poised to make my preorder when I get paid overnight Wednesday. I have two questions though:

1. If I make my preorder Wednesday what are my chances of getting it on Friday?

And

2. I'm making my preorder through a friend's Apple Business Account, since he offered. When he puts in the order will he need to know my phone # and SSN?

Thanks guys in advance. I'm super excited for when ever it arrives at my door!

Best advice is to act like your ordering the device to the point where it shows you the availability. Otherwise google carrier availaibility for iphone 6s preorder and then filter the google results to be from the last 24 hours.

Apple is not accepting anymore preorders for 9/25 they open reservations again 9/26 @ 8AM (probably PDT) so your only hope would be thru Sprint or your carrier if its not Sprint but im assuming it is hahahha

That's so weird, the online shipping status shows it being just as fast as regular 6s. I did have an initial am order on 18th and never received tracking for it but I will say I did a new order today and tonight I received an email stating I'd receive it within 2-5 days. Also last year I didn't get a tracking number on my preorder until the night before (Thursday) I received my phone (on Friday).

My phone better be here Friday. Lol I just paid $150 for a screen replacement today because a sprint told me my little sliver of a crack on the glass would cause me to be eneligible for my upgrade to switch out. It sucks but I do want that upgrade!

I was also told that if you ordered the phone online, you CANNOT return to the store. It has to be done via mail. They will only accept phones at the store where you are picking up at the store.

I don't know how true this is because lets face it. Sprint customer service is appalling.

I had this similar question. If the crack or scratch is not located on the LCD, they will accept it. As long as the LCD is in tact.

I don't know how true this is, per my last post, because well, You get 400 different answers when you call Sprint.

Lol man you guys are going through wayyyy too much to get this phone haha. BE PATIENT!!! We will get our new iphones just relax folks.

I have a 64gb and I've used 27.4gb and have 28.1 available.

I have 6.5 gb of photos, a ton of apps and only 2 gb in music.

So 128gb is completely overkill for me, but everyone has different usage

Actually the Xbox 1 has 500gb not 250gb. So it would take 4 iPhones 128gb to have more storage. ;-)

iPhone 6S plus SG 64GB.
No email confirmation, but on the My Order page I have a tracking number and the corresponding UPS page says it is expected to be delivered 9/25.

Mess of a preorder experience. Originally attempted online, site crashed. Called, pre order was in and they took my credit card and "the system went down" and I got disconnected, called back and they said they saw the order and would call back with a confirmation, they never did. Called later in the day launch day and finally got through.

When will any carrier get this right? I have had issues with ATT and the Apple site with launch day orders.
