I was also told that if you ordered the phone online, you CANNOT return to the store. It has to be done via mail. They will only accept phones at the store where you are picking up at the store.

I don't know how true this is because lets face it. Sprint customer service is appalling.

Which is funny considering I had to personally contact sprint to even get them to mail me the return kits.

I'm not even confident ill get the return kits they CLAIMED to have sent out. They are really just disappointing. Their customer service is horrible, I find myself having to call back multiple times just to get someone who knows what they are doing. Shame.

I'm not even freaking out over getting the phone on launch day, I just want to make sure Sprint isn't going to screw me over on my bill because of the mess this has caused.
 
I had this similar question. If the crack or scratch is not located on the LCD, they will accept it. As long as the LCD is in tact.

I don't know how true this is, per my last post, because well, You get 400 different answers when you call Sprint.
They said they prefer that the screen has no damage or cracks, everything else like nicks, dents, scuffs on the body is acceptable.

Can anyone explain this to me...I don't understand how this leasing of the iPhone works via Apple. I have a Sprint Account, and I'm mid-cycle on my 2 year contract...

Why can't I order a phone from Apple and pay Apple's monthly fee on top of the one I'm paying Sprint until my contract expires? I makes you select a Sprint phone, then it tells you you're not eligible. Which means you're actually leasing the phone through Sprint and not Apple...

My phone has very small crack on, near the home button, barely noticeable. They accepted it because the LCD was not damaged. Again, just another inconsistency.
 
I ordered a space gray iPhone 6s Plus 128Gb on Sept 12 too but I still do not have a Tracking # associated with my order#. I had a conversation with Sprint Order chat support about this. They won't look more into the matter until you threaten to cancel the order. Sharing the transcript below: (weird that the name appears is Mike when he said at the end that his name is Alex lol)

I had 2 conversations with online support yesterday and both just like this where they are waiting on UPS and that is why tracking numbers haven't been posted. So, we all wait in limbo until they finally pop up.
 
Has anyone around here had any 16GB iPhones 6s ship? I ordered three phones, 64GB iPhones 6s Gold and iPhone 6s + silver and I received shipment notifications via UPS choice on Monday. The only one that has no shipped was the 16gb iPhone 6s Rose Gold. I preordered early in the AM on preorder day and I'm sure the rose golds were popular but I figured the 16GB would sneak by since the capacity is so small.

Sprint is so vague, so I'm just curious.
 
I mentioned this previously that last year I didn't get a tracking number until Thursday night and I got my phone the next day on Friday which was the release day.

To further elaborate it seems the guesses made here within the last two pages are spot on in that they have a hard time posting the tracking info. Last year mine was clearly already shipped and almost made it to me before I received a tracking number.

I'd assume that once UPS picks up a device the process of posting a tracking number should be automated and done within an hour or so but that's clearly not been the case for many in the past.

I also could not get the reference trick to work via UPS last year either using my account number or phone number for reference and everything is correct and I order frequently from Amazon and never miss a notification.

Guess their network improvements get all the funding and their preorder and shipping systems rely on antiquated tech?

I got a tracking number for two of my 4 iPhone 6S Plus, the Silver and Gold. The other two are rose gold 16gb and I haven't received a tracking number for them. I'm hoping its just Sprint being Sprint (inconsistent) and will ship all my phones at one time.

Yeah, this is really starting to concern me. I don't like these big charges on my acct that are dependent on Sprint handling my return through the mail correctly to get removed. I just have a feeling getting the charges removed with be a huge PITA.

Well, I decided to try online chat again today and got some info for it. She did confirm for me that she has seen iPhone 6s Plus 128GB in Space Gray have seen tracking numbers today and she was also willing to text me when my account was updated. So, hopefully we get some tracking numbers today.

I guess it's different by reps. I did go to my local corporate store and they did suggest I fix it. I called Sprint a week later about letting me get my upgrade early and I asked if I really had to fix my screen and they said it's recommended. Probably so I don't have any damage fees or something. My iPhone is leased so I sorta understand. I used to have contract bought phones and they didn't care before but I guess leased phones have to be in better condition when trading in for the upgrade. From what I'm guessing.
 
Just saw rose gold in person and oh god is it pink. Now I need to hope and pray my sprint guy can get me another color held for launch day. So I can cancel my rose gold 6s plus.
 
Just checked and I've received my tracking number for my 128GB Space Grey iPhone.

EDIT: I've received it by checking UPS MyChoice.

I got tracking for my last iphone just a few min ago... Mine the last of the three was the 16gb 6s rose gold. Sweet!
