Sprint iPhone Pre-Order Status Thread

Anyone's orders still say processing? I called a rep and he told me mine is scheduled for delivery on Oct. 11th. He seemed so confused. I'm really nervous. Sprint charged my card, they better deliver my effing phone on time.

Mine doesnt even say Processing, just expected delivery of 10/14
 
Sprint Decal

Instead of starting a thread on this, does anyone here know if Sprint is going to place their decal on front of the iPhone 4S. I hope not. I think it will ruin the aesthetics of the phone no matter how small.

Not sure if ATT or Verizon's decals are on the iPhone 4. Does anyone know? Thanks.
 
I dont think Apple lets them. They don't say AT&T and if Im not mistaken you cant tell if its Verizon either
 
The iPhone won't ever have any carrier branding on it :) and that's the beauty of the Apple way :apple:

On topic : the sprint order check is completely a mess (sprint.com/my order) It doesn't say anything useful. Mine just says the following:


Status: The order has been submitted and requires manual processing. If there is an issue processing the order we will contact you.

We had to go to sprint.com because we signed up for a family plan and couldn't go through apple.com - hopefully they will ship it out on time to get here for the 14th. We got a confirmation that the order was received but no tracking or anything.

So I went to Sprint.com to preorder the iPhone 4S. I am currently with Sprint and only want to upgrade one of two phones on a shared family plan. When I go to "add a device" at step 3 of 4, right before you pay, it won''t allow me to port a current Sprint number onto the iPhone 4S. There's a pop-up that appears, either I call a toll-free no# or go into a Sprint Store. Has anyone here successfully port a number Sprint to Sprint?
 
I just got a update from sprint with my tracking number and phone number. Still on target for friday. Im just getting a iPhone 4

You shouldn't have to port a number, just order the phone on that line. Sprint will do the rest. Porting is for when you're coming in from another company and want to keep your old phone number.

Thanks. I had to call Sprint on this. Initially, from the "Shop for Phones" Page The choices were "Upgrade my Device" or "Add a Device", I did both, neither worked. However Sprint guided me through the process. I had to go into my Account, select the number I want to upgrade, drop down menu and select - "Upgrade this Number". Everything went smoothly from here. I was told, I should receive it Friday (14th) or Saturday (15th) at the latest.
 
We ported 5 lines to Sprint from AT&T and bought my 64GB white 4S, two black/one white 16GB 4S, and a black 8GB iPhone 4. They all say they're waiting in the warehouse for delivery on the 14th/15th, however, the iPhone 4 now has a UPS tracking number. Which sucks because UPS runs around my house at 7pm or so. :(

I wonder if mine are all arriving separately?

Glad you got your order placed! :)

I added a line, but was already under my account, on that page, so had no problem with it.

did you order it separately or is it all together?
 
I ordered one 6am Friday 10/7 and just got an email today with all my account and confirmation info along with my new phone number. It says it is shipping by second day air UPS and Sprint is still saying I'll get it on Friday or Saturday. I picked up a Speck Candyshell and screen protectors for it this weekend....I am not taking chances with a phone that is $900 to replace after tax...
 
Mine originally said it had to be manually entered, then on Saturday they emailed me giving me a new order number ("In order to complete your request it was necessary to assign a new order number.")

The new number now just says Your order is being processed. If you have any questions, please contact a representative at your original point of purchase.

It does say it was updated as of 10/10, so guessing something is happening.

No decals on any iPhone. :cool:
 
Ordered 16gb via apple store at 3:30am, got apple confirmation at 1:03pm, and it is under status At warehouse preparing for shipping. Says delivery by Oct 14th. Hope it comes sooner.
 
Just to add a tally mark:

Ordered at 8:15am MDT from sprint.com. The tracking number still has not been populated on the myorder page.
 
Ordered the black 16GB 4S a little over an hour after it went onsale. Status still says its being processed with no tracking number. Hopefully later today?
 
If you're not getting updated info on the Sprint site for shipping, please try the following:

Log in to your Sprint account. Once on your main page, look in the top right where you see your account username.

Click the little arrow to access the drop down menu.

Under the billing column, choose any of the bottom options. DO NOT choose Edit Autopay, that one will not work.

Once you are on one of the other billing pages, look in the right hand column of options and you should have one that says: View my orders.

Select that and you'll get a list of your Sprint orders, look for the most recent for your iPhone(s).

It should have an order number the starts with DM-O followed by an additional set of characters.

Copy and paste that into the sprint.com/myorder tracking box!
 
Ordered White 32gb 4S on 10/7, confirmation received 2:37a.m. Pacific.

10/9 received email saying "We've Processed Your Order". Tracking number included (UPS).
