Experience says otherwise, I've been a victim to a certain delivery date, and not having received 'xyz' on that specified day. Even more worse, the driver even claimed to have attempted a delivery, yet no driver ever came to my house.

Mine has finally left Kentucky - coming to California so good thing its flying!
On a side note, for anyone who didn't get apple care + when they preordered, it now says this on apples site: Note: AppleCare+ will be available through November 14, 2011, to customers who pre-ordered iPhone 4 (8GB) and iPhone 4S. After you receive your new iPhone, contact us at 1-800-275-2273 to purchase AppleCare+.

yeah just got mine at 3:09pm EST...guess that means Cali shipments are headed out.
When I called Sprint about this they also told me that when you activate your phone you can call up and add it
I'm in the same boat as the rest of you: I finally have an Origin scan, and I'm feverishly awaiting a departure scan.
I live in Kentucky, so I guess I won't have a departure scan for quite some time. But i'm not worried, UPS says it'll be delivered tomorrow by the end of the day.
I can't wait to finally meet Siri!

Pretty sure mine is on a plane to CT right now. No update with UPS but that is where most all of my packages go through before they come to Mass.

Just got a Departure Scan at 4:08PM from Kentucky. So it looks like Florida shipments are well on their way also.

Departed Louisville at 3:46 pm. Can't wait to see everyone else continue to post movement/delivery updates. It'll be pretty amazing to see so many packages delivered all over the US and arrive on the same day.

Me too. Everything that's happened with my phone has been slower than pretty much everyone else's status. So I had the same conclusion as you. They'll send out the "local" stuff closer to the deadline.
