Sprint iPhone Pre-Order Status Thread

Going crazy waiting

UPS truck just went straight past my house I live in a town home community so thinking he might come back through on the way out NOPE! called UPS and they said there is more than one delivery guy for my area and that mine is on a different truck wth this is driving me insane please hurry with my phone UPS. And my kids are laughing at me waiting in the window.:(:eek::mad:

I am in jersey and I'm pissed the lines were not long today and even tho I paid a week ago everybody has been playing with siri for over 3 hours the advantage of pre order was non existent this round of iPhone history

I know!! My friend lives down in Plainfield and told me he was in and out the store!
 
Got mine at 9:30 this morning, Sprint is saying there is a nationwide issue getting the phone activated, could take up to 4 hrs!!
 
I worked until 8:30am, Sprint opened at 8am.

Went in 8:30am (only 2 minutes away from work), ported my number from AT&T and got the phone I was looking for.

Shortly after while I was filling out paperwork and doing stuff though...everyone else who came in were told there were no more phones available. So I got lucky.
 
Forgot to say my UPS guy had no idea why he had a crap load of boxes from Apple. He had no idea that a new iPhone came out. Also UPS, is having their drivers make the recipients sign for the iPhones (at least in my area). Last year for the iPhone 4, the UPS drivers left them at the doorways and people were calling up saying, they "never received" them.

I'm sure if more could've pre-ordered they would. Pre-order always seems like the more logical choce when you can't predict what will happen in stores. I was going to but then the 16G ran out.

The store experience was pleasant though. Showed up at 7:30 with 10 in front of me and was out at 8:30
 
Mine just came as i was watching videos of unboxing on youtube lol. UPS usually comes around 4 but came at 11:20 !!! :D :apple::apple::apple:
 
I live on a quiet block. But today it seems 10000 vehicles have passed by within the past hour. I saw a UPS truck drive passed my block too :confused: I have to go to work in 45 minutes I really hope I am here to get my new iPhone :apple:

Your right because if it would have turned out to be like the iPad 2 I would have been pissed in line all day. I will just wait in the window with my 2 year old
 
I'm gonna be so pissed off if they are requiring a signature, typically they just leave it on my porch. (I'm at work)

UPS,
Please leave package with Tracking # _________ behind storm door.

Worked for me....I'm home but didn't want to miss it if I was in the bathroom or something :p

Yeah I called home to have one of my family members leave a note at the door also. I thought they'd be home all day but they told me they going to work early and I was freaking out if the wanted someone to sign for it. The UPS hub in my city is all the way on the opposite side of town and I get off today in the midst of rush hour.. I'll kill someone if they make me do that :mad:
